It was Christmas Eve and time to do another vlog but this time on the other side of the valley. And this time with my son, Josh.
Buffeted by icy winds for most of the day nothing could detract from the glorious views that this little fell affords in every direction.
Pike O' Blisco really is the perfect Lakeland fell for a short winter's day walk and a highly recommended route. Enjoy!

Astonishing video Glenn! Your Lake District adventures are interesting to watch. It was windy on the summit, and also busy. The Lake District is absolutely beautiful. What amazes me is that there are glorious views in every direction. It's nice to see snow on the mountain tops. Thanks for sharing, take care, Jordan.

Love it when I find one that I haven’t seen yet! I might do this one on the Sunday after the meet up in a couple of weeks 🙂 Always good to see Josh along too - it would be great if you top and tailed with shots of where you parked and, more importantly, the pub you end up in 🍻🍻😀

When you said 'my boy' in the description I was expecting a 10 year old! Can't believe you are old enough to have a 24 year old child!!! Great vlog - loved the humorous sketch at the end! Am going to try Pike o'blisco next time I'm up in Cumbria - nice scrambles and lovely views.

Another cracking video. Myself and my brother did Bowfell before lockdown and we are now planning Pike O'Blisco when we are allowed to get to the lakes. It looks stunning.

Love this! So doing this route next time & NOT the 'not a path in sight' one that my other half insisted we take! Although it was beautiful.....it was as boggy as n hard going!! Its a special one for sure! Lovely watching father & son! 😍😀👌

We where up that way on the same day, over on sergeant man. Had to call in the are ambulance for a guy on the summit so cut our walk short. Definitely was a beautiful day but very cold in the tops. Great video as always

As per, an awesome video - great to see Josh out with you too! To be honest, I didn't miss the drone footage as you packed in plenty of entertainment, plus the bloopers at the end more than made up for any lack of drone footage.

Fantastic as ever. However I am not sure about the 'hand me, fetch me, carry me' lark. It's always good to get some quality time in the fells with your children. Stay safe. It seems to me having seen all of your walks that you must have had some military experience.

Nice one again! Sometimes I can't wait for the next episode. It helps seeing the places I spent years rollercoasting the summits. It helps to keep me sane in this stupid 'lockdown.' For me, it would be nice to see Josh having a go talking/vlogging on the camera for a while? Showing the walk from 'joint' perspective? LOL.

Maybe you could mount your camera to your bag making the climbs easier - quality video - during lockdown I watch your videos in evny while I was stuck in doors😂 keep it up mate

Hahaha 😂 Love the ending. Looks like a good day out. I’ll have to try that one if I’m ever allowed back out the house. Did I hear right and Josh is 24?!! I’m not sure how that’s possible. Surely you’re not old enough! I like how normally you make it look easy but as soon as the youngster comes out you’re struggling haha 😂 I think I did Bowfell a couple of days before you and it was fantastic up there.
