Not sure if its been mentioned, but I love how you are doing things differently from your last Pikmin 1 guide. I can watch Pikmin gameplay all day but it's really nice that the videos are different.
I forgot how much I loved the forest naval in terms of its appearance, it really stands out in a franchise with a lot of memorable areas AND it has two of my favorite enemies in the game: Beady Long-legs (which is the reason I still subconsciously over-utilise yellow pikmin) and the Puffstool, an enemy I hope makes a return in Pikmin 4
I’m kind of impressed. Being a “0 death run” I was sure you’d only grow exactly 100 of each Pikmin, just to save on time. Although I kinda like to watch others play it, I’m not a Pikmin player myself, so I can’t judge on whether it’s a good use of time or not. I just find it interesting, seeing as you can’t have more than 100 Pikmin out at a time, so any species of Pikmin past 100 seems a little odd to me, that’s all.
Extremely well done with this part and now continuing where we left off, we now meet the next Pikmin, And then finishing The Impact Site, Along with getting a lot of Pikmin as well, and with that time to collect Parts. Keep doing amazing.
I think Pikmin 2 was a perfect game in pretty much every capacity. The graphics for 4 will be nice no doubt, but I do agree that there's something charming about how modest everything is in 1 and 2. No eye clutter. Nowadays, every game, regardless of artstyle, seems to be loaded with effects and PBR material pipelines and such.
Can you please elaborate on the tip that says "I've also learned that new sprouts found growing on days following fierce battles are the results of seeds being left behind." Is this referring to when fighting a boss and losing a few pikmin? Also great content, been watching your videos back when Pikmin and Pikmin 2 were still on GC.
Not just bosses, but anytime losing a large number of a pikmin to an enemy, its possible the next day there will be new sprouts where they died. Its a mechanic only in Pikmin 1.
@@moocher2121 Ah, I meant for the channel. I HAVE played most of them myself. I'd make walkthroughs for them in order, from I all the way to... I guess XIII would be my limit. But that's for another time once I'm finished with all the projects I want to work on before that.
