Let's see here, 1. There Golden, check 2. There the only golden enemy's that spawn here, check 3. They don't drop a body when they die still, check 4. They both have ship parts including a NOVA BLASTER that could easily strike people out of the sky, check So yes, some theories suggest in the previous games that enemy's that fade to nothing are likely influenced by the water/plasm wraith
