A few enemies shown in this video may not exactly be bosses, like the mamuta, jumbo bulborb, and bloomcap bloyster. However, some people may consider them bosses, so I've included them. The "advanced" bosses are iterations of previous bosses, but spiced up to be more difficult. Most of these are found in the final cave, "Cavern for a King" as it's mostly a boss rush cave with more difficult iterations of past bosses. Some examples include: a glidemander surrounded by poisonous mushrooms, fighting three snagrets at once, being forced to fight empress bulblax from the side, etc. They are placed at the end of the video after the final boss and ending. Keep in mind that while they are supposed to be harder, the Oatchi charge + ultra-spicy spray combo still obliterates most of them instantly.
On a game mechanic technicality I think the game’s code considers any enemy as bosses whenever the boss music plays, I.e. when the Snare Drums or Trumpets play to start both respective boss themes. On a latter note this was a pretty nice video overall, glad you included some of the fan favorite enemies as bosses such as the Mamuta and included other variations. Not a lot of Pikmin 4 boss rush videos include those variations. Lastly, it’s nice to see Pikmin 4 continues to get some love even after a month of its release and the title of this video should be “Bosses absolutely obliterated in a matter of seconds”.
I wish it was impossible for collin to first meet the waterwraith on the final sublevel And i wish they bring back the goofy pathetic escape music from pikmin 2
The Porquillion serves more like a tutorial enemy when you encounter it in the begining of the game; The one in Plunder Palace sub. 3 is the hardest an in my humble opinion and the most enjoyable. The Puffy Blowhog at the end of drafty gallery serves as really only a tough enemy like the Porquillion and the Tusked Blowhog in Sun-Spekeled Terrace. The Burrowing Snagret is as much of a midboss like it was in Pikmin 3, but it is much more fun for me here. Mumuta is just a regular enemy, but I can see why you included him. He was an optional boss in The Impact Site for Pikmin 1. The Empress Bulblax in the Kindom Of Beasts is more of a midboss. She is much more of an actual boss the second and third time you fight her and she is a menace like she was in Pikmin 2. The first major boss of the game; Emperor Bulblax has slightly more heatlh than what he had in Pikmin 2, and he has a gorgeous design glow up. Another major boss! The Foolix is just a Goolix who got high. You should have listened to Groovy Long Leg's music instead of killing him in 5 seconds.💀 btw where the heck is Crusted Rumpup?💀 The giant Yellow Wollywog Masterhop is one of Many Giant Enemies that just turns into a regular enemy after Seafloor Resort. The Arctic Cannon Beetle is one of the 3 ice bosses and is proudly the adult of the decorated cannon larva. The Waterwraith is an outstanding major boss almost no one would think it could return, although the music for the phase when the rollers break isn't as pathetic. The Gildamander is a boss varriation of the adorable Gildamandwee and is the 2nd best giant enemy boss. Both fights aganst this thing are tough as hell. The Horned Cannon Beetle is a dissapointing midboss because it is not the ARMORED Cannon Beetle. The 2 Giant Breadbugs are one of the best and most fun returning bosses, especially with the new charge attack. However, no one knows if it is a major or mini boss. The Snowflake Fluttertail is a flying-snow boss of the Frozen inferno(sublevel 4). I like how the only way to attack it is for it to make contact with a fire starter. The Jumbo Bulborb is just a giant Bulborb Like the Mama Sheargrub. The Mamoth Snootwhacker is the midboss of the one-sublevel Dream Home and is the best Giant enemy. It does become just an obsticle in story 5 of the Trial of the Sage Leaf. The 2 Bug-eyed Crawmads in Giant's Hearth are simply regular enemies compared to the one in The Mud Pit. The Bloomcap Bloyster that appears as a smaller Raging Bloyster with a beutiful hat is a regular enemy in Giant's Hearth compared to the 3 in Cavern for a King which are midbosses/tough enemies. The Man-at-legs is another good returning boss with advanced shooting. all 3 fights are tough in thier own way. Sovergn Bulblax is the 2nd best boss in Pikmin 4. It can roar like the Emperor Bulblax and it's jumping attack comes with bolders. It is one of the 2 best returning bosses of the game. I still love the Puffstool even it doesn't have Puffmin anymore. The Grubchucker is a regular enemy. Why is it included as a boss? The Toxtool has a uniqe degsin and it can bring enemies back to life. One of the coolest midbosses in C.F.A.K..
