With Olimar it's a more urgent tone (the beat, the rythme and even instrument shows it) we only have 2 week while in the main campaigns there is no limits whatsoever
I figured it would, but it was super cool to see this track go from a lighthearted one to an intimidating one! Really fits with The Final Trial area track with one, where there was this happy melody that had a menacing piano and droning piano. Personally, Final Trial is more of an unnerving theme but this one did its job good imo!
I love the parallelism with this track, as it reuses the tutorial theme from Pikmin 3 in a way that is beyond simply for nostalgia's sake, but to create this subversion of expectations. Like, this is a tutorial theme turned into the final trial.
i play music when I'm building things in games, and i was building a tower on me and my friend's modded minecraft server. and this song now holds memories of towers and good times.
I feel like if Giant’s Hearth and Primordial Thicket were in Olimar’s Shipwreck Tale. The Giant’s Hearth’s theme would’ve combined some parts of the Forest Navel and The Final Trial up and remix it. Primordial Thicket on the other hand would’ve probably remixed some of the Wistful Wild’s theme.
WHY DIDN'T WE GET A FULL-ON HOUSE AREA EARLIER?! When I make a Pikmin 3 Deluxe mod, it'll be focused on house exploration. Kitchen level, bathroom level, living room level, et cetera.
@@redpikdman the "near water" thing is a programming oversight - it's actually triggered by the geyser in the water, which is internally classified as an enemy
This is the non extended version, it’s just longer because the theme changes depending on what you are doing, like if you are in a battle or collecting a ship part, so this theme is all of them together.
The Forest Navel doesn't have a theme for Olimar's Shipwreck Tale because it's referenced in the final area's theme. Besides, this area has the least water out of any area in my opinion, so it wouldn't make sense for one of the most watery places in the series have it's motif in a dry area.
