Pikmin: Come play with us, Olimar....forever and ever and ever. This music sounds more like a demented carnival. Nice music. I’ll never sleep again. XD
It puts you at ease while building suspense at the fact that there's eerily nothing at all on the stage even though you something should be there, until you meet *it*
The melody itself is upbeat but the harmonization is very dissonant with lots of minor keys and some tritones (demon chord). Melody is far more obvious than harmony so the combination of an upbeat melody and a sinister harmony gives the impression of intentionally concealed danger, or the feeling of being lead into a trap. Which is appropriate given the context of the music.
I've been waiting for this one! Solid work. It really captures the juxtaposition of the original tune as it shifts from pleasant, to unease, to threatening.
I love how that slow snare starts fading in at 3:56 and then gradually gets slower and more suspenseful at 5:05... it sounds like the sound of Pikmin breaking down that final wall and the suspense building as they finally do so. So cool!
I think the word you are looking for is nerfed neutered is to remove the ability to have children, and by the amount of young emperor bulblaxes, this is not true
Nice angle in the artwork you created (or found~)! I like how the center of the image is almost focused on the gate. Yet, ominously waiting in the center is what all the suspense was built for. It's waiting for the gate to fall. All objects of interest are in a line along the central vertical plane. It's not the Secret Safe that is important in this image!
When I first heard this remix, it sounded kind of funky. I started to swing my head to it. “It’s not very much like the original, huh?” Is what I thought. Then the battle theme started playing-
This is amazing!! I love the artwork and the song especially! Also, it reminds me of Clock Town from Majora's Mask. With the happiness dwindling into something not so happy and creepy and maybe a little lonesome...
***** You're welcome! Ahh, so I hit the nail right on the head! Yay me! Oh, wow! and yeah, that's true. Truly is. Glad I caught it. And I'm glad ya did. It's amazing!
Great work on this!! It sounds like creepy carnival music, and it gets so scary and suspenseful. I love it! This boss was terrifying for me as a child, and this music/ artwork perfectly captures that feeling of terror. Great work!! Subscribed!
seems like pikmin games are taking the kirby approach to final bosses 1 : big version of something familiar 2 : the giant enemy spider 3 : a fucking eldritch horror *jello* *demon* hey : parasitic jellyfish
Pikmin 3 is an overrated turd. I never thought i would see a day when need for speed is the best game on a consol but here we are. The wiiu is one of my worst investments.
Oh yea i went back to the onion a time or more. I think i remember. Hahaha Thats why you save up!!! It helped me to become conservative! Save and you won't be broke! Just like real life! You can soft lock yourself out of multiple days if you screw up really bad.
Again you have done a spectacular job. also, have pb and jeff gotten any better at pikmin? I saw the first two episodes and it hurt to watch. like, I can't even describe how hard it was to watch them play.
You do make a good point. And there is something magic about when people play a game for the first time. I find it most painful when they mess up and loose pikmin. I have spent so much time playing pikmin that I naturally do no death runs so seeing pikmin die just drives me crazy. But I should go watch it just for those moments of triumph. also, keep up the good work on those remixes, but don't stress yourself too much about it! and congrats on 150 subs
we appreciate you too! Not a lot of people are willing to put as much time and effort into a project like you have with your remixes. you've worked hard to get this far and deserve every sub you've got. also thanks for replying. not a lot of youtubers do that.
"Alright here whe are, the Last and Final Trial. Whe will go through this all, to gather and finish this Tale." Its great, probebly can be even better for a Musical, but thats just my Opinion.
I love this alot, but if I were to make one critisism about it (You don't have to take it, it's your music, I'm just stating what I like), your music takes a while to start up and rolling. For some, it works really well. But for others, unless you keep it interesting, some parts will come off as boring if it repeats too much and doesn't change to often.
