I'd highly recommend getting the full pop off pirate set early on, it makes farming for the mid game melee gear alot easier. The worst thing that could happen is dying by getting jumped by imps at volcano

I remember in one run i was so tired of repeating that i started using challenge medal to farm gold faster, since i was using ranged i didnt care that much but idk if that ended up being a good idea On an update, i also died to shock marauder
