Pilgrim Monument new Inclined Elevator going up & down High Pole Hill - May 2022 - Cape Cod

We had a wonderful vacation down Cape Cod.
One day we went to the Pilgrim Monument in Provincetown Cape Cod Massachusetts. They now have an Inclined Elevator that you can access from Bradford Street and ride up to the Pilgrims Monument on High Pole Hill and you can take it back down after you Tour the Pilgrim Monument.
This is such a great idea and fun to ride on. What to do in Provincetown Cape Cod.

It’s a good thing that they put this funicular to climb this section to access to Pilgrim Monument. I love funicular, we also have that in Quebec City. You have so many steps to go on the top of the Pilgrim Monument, but the vue is spectacular. Wonderful video Brenda ! Have a great weekend. Hugs and blessings.

I had no idea they built this, but it seems like a great idea. I'm sure it will help a lot of people out since walking up the hill and then walking up the monument can be so exhausting. Now they just need to build an elevator to the top haha.

I didn;t know about it either until we were walking around Ptown. Oh ya that hill is a workout after a day walking around Ptown and then having to climb the monument!! LOL about an elevator inside!

There should be separate fares for those who just want ride the inclined elevator & museum admission. The museum admission is $20, the incline should be $2, or more comparable to local transit. Some people may want to check out the hill, not going in the museum.
