One thing I always remembered about this cartoon was the elevator scene when they got to the bottom, opened the door, saw the Devil and said, "Whoops! Too low!"

The sequel to this episode is Heckle & Jeckle are big pharma lobbyists.

Very clever ending.

The music and foley are also stars in these Terry Toons.

i had been searching for this cartoon from years. I saw it first as a kid 58 years ago.

I'd watched that "Mighty Mouse/Heckle & Jeckle" show on WBFS-📺 Ch. 33 every morning before I went to Gulfstream Elementary School in 1990 at age of 7.

Love the part where the elevator door opens into hell, and "Oops, too low!"

I like how the dog mentions second floor at 5:56

Breaking 4th wall @ 6:03. Also, poor Heckle & Jeckle got fistingcuffed in quick a 9-second fight@ 6:10-6:20

6:10-6;18 -😮I'd truly "bolief" that Heckle & Jeckle are doomed by the Gymnasium Coach Bulldog.😯

Considering the side effects of steroids, like cancer, the bulldog was in the right in this 'toon and H&J needed to get their asses kicked!
