As a person who has a history of miscarriages, ectopic pregnancies & sufferers from incompetent cervix . I meant zero harm in saying “red flag if they have no kids “ I miss worded that and should’ve definitely said it better . What I meant was it’s a red flag in my mind for the friendship . Like okay they’ll invite us to events that we won’t make it to , or will sometimes have to cancel on because we have kids and kids are unpredictable. Sometimes people who don’t deal with kids on a daily basis don’t understand schedules, routines , cancellations, etc. that comes with kids and that’s okay ! We’ve have friends with no kids get completely upset with us for not being able to go to an event or something because something came up with the kids . So to avoid and misunderstanding I gravitate more to families and that’s okay ! Because before I had kids I did nottttt hang out with moms I was like no way 😂 I hope y’all understand what I meant and know that I meant no harm by what I said !

I’m 13 minutes In girl and seriously probably the most relatable person on RU-vid . I love that you guys incorporated prayer in your marriage me and my husband started going to church and putting God in our life and our marriage got really strong we were on the edge of divorce but now we good lol. We’ve been together for 12 years I’m 26 his 27 . also come from toxic family and cutt them off now my life is stress free 😅 it took awhile to get over not talking to them but then I realized I have my own little family I don’t want them to grow up with people like that .

The sister situation is a very sensitive situation. Only you know the dynamic of the relationship. All you can do is do your best, take accountability for your actions, and hope she does the same. Use discernment, you're a smart lady. You twos relationship is just that, between the two of you. The "father" sounds like he carries resentment from his previous actions and where he's at today. Don't let him come between what you're building. Pray for him from a distance, I'll also pray on his heart and the situation. Life is short, and the kids deserve to know what a great aunt and uncle they have🫶🏿
