Pilot-rc 2.2m Matrix “Maiden flight” 

It’s that time we all have been waiting for!
The maiden flight of the new Pilot-rc 2.2m Matrix. Join us as Team Pilot Warren Bio take to the sky with the Matrix. In this video Warren demonstrates all the preparations he takes to ensure a successful maiden flight. Beginning with an extensive ground checks to include a taxi test and brakes check. Once he is confident that the jet is ready, he begins all his pre-flight checks. The Matrix performed very well with a 120n turbine at sea level. All that was required was 2 clicks of up elevator trim and the matrix was locked in flying straight as an arrow. The matrix demonstrated exceptional flight characteristics with a wide flight envelope. It was evident during the several flights that day that the matrix not only like to fly fast, but also handles very slow speed with ease.
