I appreciate the comment, but Chicago was actually home to the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomi nations, among many other tribes! The Aztec (and Mayan) influence in a lot of the the murals in Pilsen honor the original occupants of the land that is now Mexico. Hope this clears it up :)
Dont hate just this Mexican American neighborhood was voted Forbes top 10 coolest neighborhoods in the world. Forbes magazine is right wing conservative garbage media so it must kill you to admit you're wrong about Mexicans in general.
It’s a great area built by central and Eastern Europeans. Became Hispanic,and now becoming gentrified. Boo hoo. That’s the market at work. Somehow it was ok when the neighborhood went to crap and the European settlers left, but now, it’s not. Seems a bit…..what’s that word….oh yea, hypocritical.
