You definitely can't go wrong with having both. I made the decision a while ago to design airwolf with the specific goal of recreating the "fictional" version first which we've never really had in a sim before. That means focusing on the capabilities it had in the show and the real heli as secondary.

My personal dream is rather to fly it as it was in real life and sounds like CowanSim model, but with the Lady airframe (seeing the nose cap from the cockpit makes a difference for me ;-)). BTW, I am working on a dedicated Airwolf2 (Redwolf) skin and paint scheme fitting on CowanSim add-on. I will be happy to share it with you if you like. Looking forward to further updates. Love flying Cowansim's 222B but you're right, she's not the lady. In fact nobody has ever successfully created airwolf as it's always been liveries of a true Bell 222. My goal with the start of this project was to deliver on the fantasy of flying the "fictional" icon we all know and love.

You don't need to have flow open, can you bind it to a key (mine if bound to the help key - tab). In VR it's a bit different because Asobo doesn't allow developers to spawn widgets unless they are part of a window already but that's no fault of Parallel 42. Flow is an incredible tool and contains far more features than I've shown in the video.

@@cptairwolf yeah, especially in VR is a bit of a miss. At least for me, the features it offers are not useful :D

Once you dial in the settings the visual clarity of the crystal is about as close as one could ask for. Aside from a slight blur when you move (something they can likely improve in software), the resolution and color depth are amazing.

I'm only running a 3090 and getting a solid 40fps with high-end settings. I'll probably make a video about how best to set it up soon but I wanna wait til I really have it dialed in.

I'll be creating a video soon to share my settings. I'm still experimenting to get the best possible quality to performance. Absolutely blown away by the headset quality though. It looks better than the video even shows.

Thanks for stopping by. I realize a lot of you are here for airwolf and I'll try my best to include some project updates when possible. As for the shaky video I feel your pain, I nearly scrapped it when I rewatched it lol. Future ones should be better!
