I use to live next to this guy. He never drove it. Stayed in his garage. I think I seen him drive it once or twice. Seats didn't recline or slide. Bunch of other shit too. Lol paint was good though.
@@jerryrobles9562 probably didnt drive it because those idiots dont even touch the engine! They think useless monitors and big wheels make up for a car breaking down all the time. I also wouldnt be too excited to see my seats looking like a work boot
Wouldn’t it be easier to put all your tools in a bag and take them all at once. This is such a bad idea, I’m pretty sure the last thing a contractor wants to do at the end of the day is reorganize his tools. This is the shit you don’t realize as a kid

No one seems to know that a lot of cars pimped by this show, still had the same problem it had before it was pimped, became sloppy or had malfunctions with the engines, the show was fun to watch, but it is just cruel to know that they don't actually fix it correctly, some cars got exterior modifications that ruin the reputation of the car, for an example the 240SX, which got a nice green color, BUT had terrible vinyl/stickers and looked like a ricer pimped it. Please I don't want people raiding my comment because how "great" the show was and me "ruining" it's legacy
Pimp my ride. Not fix my ride. I still think all the people that got on would do it again in a heartbeat. We would. Yeah the car had issues after. But the amount of cool stuff would have never been able to sink into the car.
@@bunniculacat I understand that, but, if they are going to pimp a car they are going to need to get rid of the problems it had like if the suspension is malfunctioning, it is in need to be fixed, I do recall them fixing a Chevy which had a crashed hood, broken headlights, a trunk that doesn't close and a wheel with the airbag deployed, and they fixed but that is because they installed aftermarket stuff and a body kit. Some cars aren't made to fit a body kit onto it. Some look terrifying with one.
@@zamaintroz4317 LOL. I know a bit more than you my friend. My wife and I were on the show. We have the 73 VW Thing. They gave her a racing engine and such. It is great when I works correctly. But a LOT of issues. But it is in the top 5 of the 72 cars they did in terms of quality.
@@bunniculacat Well it just takes me two searches and two clicks to prove you wrong, first off I searched about a 1973 VW "Thing" on Pimp My Ride and I found an episode of it, which she was in, but doesn't mention anything about you. Second off I don't think that you would get to keep all of the accessories, mentioned in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lxTxc5vDs1Y.html And as mentioned in the video, It didn't take "some days" for them to pimp a ride, it actually took half a year for them to pimp a ride in reality. Sorry if I ruined it for you Pimp My Ride fans, but truth better be told.
@@zamaintroz4317 lol. Other than Tiffany Haddish was any guest ever mentioned? Look up my user name on twitter and look at my page. I have a photo of me when we took it to the Bugarama after we got it back. It's in our backyard so I have nothing to prove. She was my girlfriend at the time. Now my wife. They trashed the trans and replaced it because they ruined it and gave her a short throw shifter and they kept the nice momo shift knob. Everything else came with the car. I'm going to do a video soon. No free time. And yes. They had the car about 6 months. And it broke down 3 days later. Lol. It's reality tv. Did you think it was honest completely? GAS purchased a bunch of the cars right out from the contestants. They offered my wife but she loves her Thing.
Hated pimp my ride they never even let the owners of the cars keep the modifications or anything . I believe every single participate had a contract that the cars wouldn’t keep any of the mods and don’t get me started how cheesey the show really was, just watching this make me cringe
