I love UGK but my intuition is telling me Pimp and Bun weren’t close towards the end. During that interview when Pimp talked to the ATL radio station, he said Bun dealt with some people who he didn’t like and didn’t want to do business with. In the Vlad interview, 2 Short said Pimp was so loyal to 2Pac that he didn’t want to do Big Pimpin because Jay was Biggie homie. Mind you, according to Bun and 2Short, Pimp never actually met 2Pac. Pimp was a guy who would ride for his brothers against whoever, he stood on principle and was very vocal about things he disapproved of. If the shoe were on the other foot, Pimp wouldn’t have anything to do with anyone Bun didn’t like. Bun on the other hand is a very much “go with the flow” kind of individual.
