Theres nothing wrong with getting paid for your services, no matter what they are. But telling people that God wants you to give me your money is just evil on many levels. When you eat a fruit, take the seeds and plant a tree. Thats tithing. When you are blessed, bless others. Pass it on, thats tithing.
