The Pin Peat orchestra is a music ensemble made up of wind and percussion instruments. The ensemble has performed the ceremonial music of the royal courts and temples of Cambodia since ancient times. It also accompanies Khmer classical dance, masked theater and shadow puppet theater as you have been hearing throughout this program.
