Thank you so much for all of your hard work and creativity. You have not only preserved pinball's history with the Bally and Williams collections (which are nicely embellished but still remain faithful to the originals) but have also elevated pinball with your original designs. I have been a competitive pinball player for over 30 years and I use both Zen Pinball and now Pinball M to train for tournaments. The fact that your original tables have such a steep level of challenge helps me raise my game. The sophistication of your rulesets and the difficulty of the modes within your games makes the real machines seem simple by comparison. I figure if I can succeed on your games, I can succeed on anything that a physical machine can throw at me. I've been a faithful customer for years and I'm always looking forward to your next release. Thanks again for everything that all of you have done for pinball!
I finally got to play a real Earthshaker machine last year. The game holds up beautifully. Glad to see it coming. The machine was also by far the LOUDEST game in the building, for some reason...odd, since a Black Knight 2000 was a few games to the right.
Thanks for everything Ákos! Any thoughts on what you will do next? Getting a Friday the 13th vibe from Camp Blood Brook. Everyone will be happy to see a Williams table as well!
I just hope for some old Zen tables from previous Pinball FX games to be added:Tesla ,Shaman,El Dorado ,V12,Agents,Buccaneer, Rocky & Bullwinkle,Speed machine,Extreme, Nightmare mansion etc.
Omg! I seriously want to see them remaster El Dorado! I remember when I first saw that table in 2010, few months after I was born. It looked so incredible!
@pinballwiz45b Care to expand on as to why? I can understand with R&B being a licence issue, but Agent and Buccaneer are their own thing. Is it an engine thing? Can they not just rebuild them? After all, if they build them, we will come!
@@BBIAJ It's more than just a rebuild -- it'd have to be a complete overhaul of the games. I've not played them myself, but from what I've seen, they look very clunky to play.
Zen Studios, Please!!! Launching new tables for XBOX SERIES X of the Pinball machines: NO FEAR WILLIAMS 1995, CENTAUR 1981 BALLY, SPACE INVADERS PINBALL 1980 BALLY, BLACK NIGHT 2000, MEGADETH, REVENGE FROM MARS, TERMINATOR 2, ANDROMEDA GAMEPLAN, BRAM STOKERS DRÁCULA, FIREPOWER 2, F-14 TOMCAT, FATHON, XENON, ELVIRA , MR. BLACK TAITO 1984, SWAMP THING, TRON LEGACY ,Beavis and Butt-head: Pinballed (Bally 1993). And news tables Pinball M , Friday 13 , Ghostface, Pennywise , Michael Myers, Bride of Chucky, DRÁCULA, Killer Klowns, Nosferatu, Jig SAW😎❤️
If you couldn't tell, but that generic wannabe "camp blood brock" table was supposed to be a Friday The 13th table or Jason Voorhees table, but I'm pretty sure Zen's parent company The Embracer Group didn't want to pay whatever license fees they were wanting to use those characters and names.... Because Embracer Group is super cheap... They don't pay to have a real quality assurance team, they lay off many people and shut down Studios that they bought... So they instead went and made a generic wannabe table. So they didn't have to shell out the money for the rights and licenses.... Oh and no fixes, even though they didn't really fix anything last big patch they had and said there was going to be major improvements... Another lie....
@@avaforlife4141 Is it? Because they sure sold a hell of a lot of units during last month's sale! :P Also, I think you meant to say VR is "niche". Same could certainly be said about pinball. That doesn't stop publishers from making new physical and video pinball tables, or a group of pinball fans from enjoying them.
Really excited for the new tables. Could you guys PLEEEEASE fix the events tab on the Xbox/PlayStation version though. I can't play any of the events or grand tournaments, and switching the cross play option does not fix it. Scores won't upload, and can't get season rewards.
I actually got to play Taxi recently, a Barcade near my house had the machine, it's pretty fun! would be nice to get some digital practice in to get better at the physical machine.
Looks great! For pinball FX, can you please make it so we can reset local leaderboards and enter initials the classic way like in FX3? (with the flipper buttons)
Yes more Williams are always welcome. But there are some killer tables imho to be preserved, and due to license rights please consider to launch crowdfunding projects with kickstarter. Keep the right way to all Pinball fans
I'd also accept an It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown table. I mean, they did a Charlie Brown Christmas table last year, so it seems like the next logical step.
@@nokiob2154 I should have mentioned that I tried changing the cross play setting, but it never resolves it for me. Sometimes when i change it, the current events do appear, but if I play an event there is an error at the end that says it can't upload the score... and when I exit out to the Events tab, it's back to being non-functional. Frustrating.
@@nokiob2154 thank you. At first it didn’t work as my cosplay was enabled. So I tried disabling and exit the menu but went back and enabled. Saw a little loading circle and it worked. Appreciate it
I was really hoping for some news on the PSVR 2 support. :( Hopefully next time. I am ready to buy every table that comes to it. Even if that means I am double or triple dipping!
'First Come. First Serve!' Diner no doubt. Diner and Earthshaker confirmed. now it would be interesting to see what the 3rd one is. Is that Pinball M table based on a real movie or couldn't get the License for the slasher it's representing?
I think they did say it was a Zen original. I would've loved to see a Friday the 13th table. Guessing maybe nobody wants to touch it after the FT13th game/music licensing fiasco.
@@brandonkirkendall1466 as a playable character, sure. But if you're gonna make an official licensed pinball table based solely off of the movies, you're gonna want the music to go with it. And that was the issue with the Friday the 13th game.
Like if someone could make this happen it’s them they already have a relationship with Disney with Star Wars and Williams. It would be amazing for preservation , not even vpx Has a Legit one yet
All of their other games have the directional pad have the ability to tilt. But for Pinball M, it seems to be impossible. Such a simple thing and I have been ignored. I spent 20 euro on a pack and I can play Pinball M. I am fed up with this.
I keep getting told that they are looking at it but no update. Why can't Zen Studios make the directional pad capable of nudging the table (like all the rest of their games)???
To me, I have been ripped off by purchasing Pinball M tables because the directional pad doesn't control nudge. All the way from their first game, I have purchased nearly all of their tables (twice when Zen Pinball 2 came out) but yet still, my upbringing with this game, of having the directional pad having the function of nudge has been denied to me and other users. Please fix the broken Pinball M
Scared Stiff and Terminator 2 please please please please. And a VR Version of both Pinball M and FX for Meta etc.And please add this "League System" from Pinball FX 3. This was great,as you had some extra motivation to play more often,as you tried to get some leagues/positions higher and also didnt want to fall back down again.
Still wish they would take advantage of Psvr 2 to really put you into front of a table. I’d buy everything they offered in PSVR2 if they would just do it. The Psvr 1 was a good effort but had many glaring issues like the constant camera drift and blurry graphics. They should redeem themselves and make all of their tables available on the psvr2 headset. I’d especially love to play the real life williams tables on there.
Give me PSVR2 support and ill start buying all this again! Ill even settle for quest 3! Pleeeeeease!. The “M” tables would be so good! Playing the game with chucky running around ur feet, or any of these games with some environmental focus added on. Its so perfect for vr in so many ways. Pinball itself is awesome in vr and would love more of that at bare minimum, but with the added immersion of what you can do with the environments of any of these themed tables (not just the “M” series) is next level elevated digital pinball. Something even real tables cant do.
I love you guys! Can anyone fix all of the glitches on Twilight Zone? It always spits out extra balls in the middle of play, as I’m sure you guys are aware.
Hmmm im starting to fear the worst for Zen Studios, people are leaving like rats from a sinking ship, each Pinball Bites the presenters seem to have less and less enthusiasm, the Zen originals are getting a bit too much and the Williams releases have been drip feed to us all year!!!. They touted we should have got at least 10 Williams tables this year and we've got like 3 so far?. Mel Kirk really needs to focus hard on Williams releases next year as these Zen originals aren't really doing it!! At this rate Zen wont even get up to where FarSight got with Williams tables let alone surpass them before Zen goes pop!! 😢😢
Can we please layoff the Zen originals for a while now and concentrate on some quality 90's Bally Williams pins? Cactus Canyon, T2, Scared Stiff, NBA fastback, etc My money's staying in my wallet until this happens 😞
Cactus Canyon: Good luck finding one in Hungary. T2: Third party licensing. Scared Stiff: See above. NBA Fastbreak: With 2K holding the rights, we can only wish.
@@pinballwiz45b CGC make Cactus remakes and I'm sure there are some originals lying around not too far. There's even one not far from my neck of the woods in Europe. Indiana Jones was a license so a licensed game is a possibility just a little more expensive. And don't forget if Pinball Arcade were able to create them then I don't see why Zen can't. Personally I think they want to make more money out of their originals but they just can't hold a candle to professional designs. And we haven't even touched the surface of Stern pins which, again, Pinball Arcade were able to create. Come on Zen, get your finger out!
@@alho9231 CGC remake models =/= the original Williams cabinet. The problem is availability for these games, partly. Terminator 2 was a special deal for Farsight, since another game company bought the rights to it at the time. Pinball Arcade got the big ones through Kickstarters, not a great choice in the long run. Scared Stiff was easy enough; it's a matter of when. Yes, Farsight recreated the Stern tables, but don't forget who also botched that opportunity and left Stern a sour taste. Stern is waiting until a developer ensures they can do it with a smaller modern company first before pulling the trigger.
I wish him well, but not happy about Akos leaving. And sorry but there wasn’t much enthusiasm in this video. These video efforts just keep getting worse and worse as time goes on. Happy that you are doing Earthshaker as I predicted though. Very good choice.
So sad to see how the williams license is barely used. And still no sight on other brands like jjp or stern, gotlieb etc…. Really hoped pinball fx would become the real full everything pinball simulator. But at this rate we will have all top pins in 75 years.
That's an exaggeration. By December, we'll be at 32, and 6 years in. Farsight had the Williams license for a total of 11 years, and they put out a total of 61 WMS titles. We're fine. Stern is out due to the poor reception of Stern Pinball Arcade. Jersey Jack, I highly doubt. You see people complaining about the download size right now, wait until you see how big JJP's game files are. Gottlieb, how many big licenses and worthy games are there to recreate? Do they make money compared to Williams?
@@pinballwiz45bI have all the Pinball Arcade titles and I believe there were more than 61 Williams/Bally games . Gottlieb had a lot of great games most being original themes. Not every pinball has to be a licensed product, many of the older Williams & Bally pinballs were original themes.
@@Railoffroader2 EDIT: Oh, I guess you're right, I miscounted. Over the 11 years, there were 62 tables! 61 from Pinball Arcade, plus Jive Time. Of all the years Farsight had the Gottlieb license (since 2004), they built 22 Gottlieb games in Pinball Arcade, plus 3 more only in the Gottlieb Collection. 8 of the 22 were remakes from that collection, so really, they built 14 new Gottlieb games over the 6 years of Pinball Arcade. Gottlieb doesn't sell. 2 Alvin G games and 14 Stern games remain.
Because of...what...exactly? You would sooner have two English is the first language buffoons butchering every sentence they read off cue cards - than have the actual people who make the games and work at the studio because they speak English as a second language and work damn hard to do so? Just a guess of course...
@@leefarley9602That's quite a leap there Lee. Whether or not someone speaks English as a first language is neither here nor there to Monsieur Jambon Emmental.
My money is safe this time around. Lmao these might be the most underwhelming tables they’ve ever released imo. A legally distinct Friday the 13th and a Bally table I’m sure 90% of players have never even heard of. What were these dorks thinking 😂
"Zen Studios, own up! People watch horror movies to get scared. Players want to be scared while playing your pinball machines for adults. I feel like Zen Studios is not fully embracing their good idea with Pinball M. Personally, I would love to play pinball machines that are genuinely terrifying. Gory pinball with much more blood, scary animations, and stressful sounds. It feels like you're holding back your imagination to avoid shocking your customers, out of fear that it won’t sell... It’s a shame, and I think that's a mistake."
Worst Pinball Bites ever. So many classic horror movies they could have made pinball tables around for Pinball M, like Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, and Hellraiser. But no, we end up getting a bargain bin Friday the 13th ripoff that nobody even asked for. I'm seriously worried about the future of Pinball M if all we get is two or three new tables per year. So much wasted potential.
This 100% looks like it was meant to be Friday the 13th but they could not get the license so retrofitted the table to be an OG table instead. Eh I'll happily try it all the same
Whatever…. No movie horror table….its always originals 😒 Definitely not CONGO……Earth shaker table had this since Pinball Arcade Nothing exciting as usual No new on IOS app that’s suppose to be coming soon either👎🏼
From what I understand, they were trying to get rights to Friday the 13th and that fell through so they rebranded what they had. So in essence this IS Friday the 13th.
