@@atlanticking2315 I understood the opposite. She was playing the F natural high against the D to form a natural interval, which resonates more. However, Zukerman was getting her to play the F flatter, in a more melodic context, which I agree sounds better here. Likewise, he was getting her to play the F# 's and C#'s higher for the same reason (sharps need to be higher in a melodic context). Less resonant but sounds better in context.
I dont think Zukerman is fit to teach especially Asians... Have you heard about the incident in Julliard about what he said about Asians during a masterclass?
