This song takes me back to my Form Four year in 2008, a challenging time marked by hyperinflation and a cholera outbreak in Zimbabwe. I attended this school in Kambuzuma-though at that time, it wasn't even a proper school. It was merely a group of recent high school graduates led by Sir Samuel who came together to assist exam classes in staying on track with their studies. They took on the responsibility of teaching various subjects. This initiative was crucial as public schools were closed, teachers weren't teaching, and many students relied on extra lessons. Each morning, before studies, we had a worship session, and this song became a daily anthem. Deep in my heart, I believed that God would come through for Zimbabwe, and I (including all Zim) would overcome the challenges. Fast forward to today, Zimbabwe still stands, and I've graduated with both my first degree and master's. That school played a crucial role; I passed my O-levels with flying colors. We affectionately called the school 'Bhakosi,' as it was inclusive and free for everyone. Thank you, Sir Samuel, for the role you played during the period 2007-10 for the Kambuzuma kids. I am a proud alumnus of Fountain College 2008, which I am sure started at Kambuzuma 3 Community Hall to Rukudzo Primary School....and to the people who lost their loved year in the 2008 cholera outbreak- may their souls rest in peace.
Yes i remember the college led by Sir Samuel that was way back i also attended the college at some point then i moved on although i did loved the daily devotions and prayer cessions. i remember singing some of these songs

I'm really going through a lot. I came across this song and got reminded of my high school years were the only focus we had was books and singing pindirai. Im praying i overcome this painful and hurtful phase. I'm constantly fighting to keep sane. May the Lord hear my prayers as i will meditate day and night using this song.
Wow!! This is such a beautiful rendition of this popular school anthem. Took me right back to my days at Bonda😍. The harmonies are perfection and Rudo’s angelic voice was the perfect cherry on top!
