We are all about mulch here in Texas. I have no idea where or if you can even get pine straw. But I like seeing how y'all do it in other regions, so thanks for the vid!
Really? Pine trees are EVERYWHERE here in Georgia, so all you gotta do is buy or rent any land right outside the city. Here you can drive and find a pine field in less than 10 minutes. The demand here is very high.
Awesome product. I just put fresh pine straw in my yard last week, and then ALL my neighbors copied me. I almost can’t wait til it starts to fade later in the season and I can charge ($) them for a refresh…Shhh!
👍 ( I have a question dyd I've had a solo test from yard mastery purchase the product they suggested for the yard still haven't hard time getting grass grow on the side of the house. And under the tree what are you suggest I've noticed you don't have any trees in your yard yard looks great though my backyard looks good but one side I cannot get the grass to grow what's up suggestions.
BermudaGrass does not do well in shade or areas where it doesn’t get 8 hours of straight sunlight. You soil test was right but your conditions are wrong. To much shade.

Never used pine straw only mulch. I have a love hate relationship with mulch. If only my hybrid Bermuda grass would grow in flower beds and around shrubs, that would look smooth.
How do you figure out how much straw ya need? I have a small garden 8 x 27=210 square feet. I have 2 4x8 rails nailed together along edges for a boarder.
Bales come in different sizes. As you see in the video, I liked it thick. No real math solution to that question. Personally one bake for me will do a 4 x 4 area. I’d say buy some to test and then make your own personal judgement.
