Wonderful EP ❤️, felt like writing a poem on it: While vultures encircle The halo of hell A destiny forsaken I lay dying Relentless but hopeless Oh the dark, the dark, the eternal dark In fear I paralyse, in silence I lay As the passages of time flash by One last breath, one final smile
Not gonna lie, i originally discovered this band accidentally, because of the movie with the same name, but i liked it so i stuck around, i'm glad i did.
Guys..this is brilliant. 20 mins just felt like seconds...all 4 tracks were perfect in its emotions...a complete power pack. The change of modulations that you gave according to the lyrics was awesome. The sudden change of rhythm, the melodic insertions of flute at 2.31. The very beginning of "Destiny" really touched my heart ...a perfect start for such an inspirational track. I still don't know how you guys fill such beautiful Carnatic modulations in hard rock track. 11.25 was what? ...spiritual?..inspirational?...gorgeous composition there...The line Khwaahish hai 16.00 was so smooth and perfect stairway for the rest of the song......Felt like watching an entire Hollywood action movie...literally speaking fell in tears...Goosebumbs at the end....Love You PE.....
You guys are giving us new Genre. Carnatic + classical + semi classical + jazz touch + prog metal + djent patch + hip-hop 808's + English vocals and growls + groovy and jumpy + dark rags to desh rag + baap playing + lyrics toh god level h (atma aur brahman ek hi toh hai na) + amazing mixing and mastering + nuances + nuances etc etc. Who is the conductor, collectively kaun soach raha hai yeh. Despite all this you are not compromising with melody and overall feel of it. I have no words to express 'pineapple express'. Fuck being tagged as underrated, make music for me, I am your truest fan. Call me if dying needs for this band, I am ready.
Just listened to the whole EP! Absolutely breathtaking tracks! The whole EP is a journey and the theme is really well thought out. The composition, the lyrics and the production are all insane!! The military sounds are so cool! Each track is special in it own way but, I have to mention that 'Relentless' is my favourite as of now and it absolutely bowled me over! Also, 9:26 gave me goosebumps! ☺️ - An avid fan of PEX since BMC fest 2018!
So my foray into Rock as a genre began with Papa Roach and the last band I remember having followed is Slipknot! I am so glad I accidentally heard this and now I am awestruck. Vultures and Paralyse are a masterpiece. Highly underrated. I am a fan!
Guys that end. The most Phenomenal end to an EP and WHAT a way to announce the ALBUM :P Loved the songs in the track list order. But overall, amazing job, this will be on loop for the next few months :P
I ended up here scavenging for good music like vulture hunting for prey. Astounding vocals and musicality. I've hitched the pineapple express now. More power to you! 🔥❤️🔥
I wasn't aware this is an indian band until I heard a hindi song. It was like " I was like stepping on a snake"...that's how shock I was n happy I am❤️. Just love it. ❤️
I was actually looping all the songs again and again to decide on the best song but I guess I can't. Each one is sheer gold!❤️ Keep the great work going ! 🔥🔥
Probably the only good thing to happen this year! Gonna listen to it on repeat! Absolutely killed it you guys! Awesomee What quality production and song writing! CRAZYSTUFFF
Amazing tracks, each one of them. Can't decide on which one is the best. ❤️ I got goosebumps and the Ambient vibe❣️. So much pure professional content and in fact so proud that my fav band is the best now in india.♥️ You guys are brilliant😍❤️
Someday PINEAPPLE EXPRESS will be an example.. the band which is going to compete with the western bands..... hat's off to you guys and ur dedication and knowledge about ur music.. 👌👌👌.. carry on
Hell yeahhh amazing...🔥🔥🔥 Every song is better than the other its tough to choose which is ma fav.. i love all of em.. amazing work manhh... Hats off to all the crew behind the scenes..
The EP had a beautiful theme, hauntingly beautiful. I enjoyed all the four tracks, however the best ones according to me were Vultures and paralyse. They were simply out of this world. I felt the ending to Paralyse was a bit Lovecraftian. Dunno whether that was the main message. Awesome work!! Best wishes! Cheers!
Indian bands really lagged behind on tones and production, since that's been pro quality, damn, tonally it seems way far ahead of the independent scene in the whole world due to the absolute fucking miles ahead vocal capabilities in india. Smooth and tight. We are gonna see a revolution in the industry and its gonna come from this part of the world I am getting more and more assured.
I went to see them live near my hometown. I had listened to their original songs like these ones so I liked their songs. But in concert I got disappointed as they played only 3-4 originals and played 4-5 covers of famous songs. Like they literally played Aunty Ji song, tunak Tunak tun. Why would I listen to these ones. It felt like they were catering to people who listen to mainstream music and not people who like their original music with Carnatic Progressive Rock fusion stuff. They missed so many good songs from Uplift EP and passages EP. I mean its like you listen to their entire discography and its too good but then they dont play majority of it live and instead play covers of mainstream bollywood songs. Not that its bad but still. Slightly Disappointed with the choice of songs but other than that their sound is tight and good. They played cloud 8.9 which I enjoyed. All the members in the band are highly talented and super skilled
All of the tracks are giving me chills, literal chills. Western themes revolving around Indian flavors are just OP. You guys are just amazing, pleaaase pay a visit to Kolkata once lockdown gets over ;___;
