I tried it and got the perfect wine I had in years. I used premier blanc yeast and one kg of sugar. Got around 12 % alcohol.

I just want to take a moment to say that this wine is SPECTACULAR. I made it almost 6 months ago, and after letting the bottles age for about 3 months and it was wonderful. I'm sadly drinking my last bottle as I type this. Thank you again for the recipe.

It's so good place being in countryside and enjoying your homemade wine. I have started getting nice aroma of your pineapple wine sitting in India. I miss my hometown which was once like this place, now it's highly urbanized.

Follow the video 😉 If you want to increase the alcohol put less water and more pineapple, but the fermentation will be longer 😀

Your sparkling Pineapple Wine recipe is good. Very fruity, tart, acidic at the beginning (possibly from the lime and pineapple) with a long tanin and nutty lingering after taste. Thanks.

Thanks for the recipe, looks really interesting. Followed your recipe but using half of everything and green tea bag instead of regular tea coz I have lots of green tea. As for pineapples, I used almost 2 very ripe Josephine pineapples with total net weight of 1.5 kg after cutting off the skin. I roughly squeezed some of the cut pineapples before boiling them together with their juices for 15 mins. It took about 14.5 hours before the baloon expands (I dont have any airlock, hydrometer, stick on thermometer), two tiny holes punctured with a tiny needle. Now it is almost 23 hours into fermentation, some bits of pineapple start to float to the top so I shook the fermenter a bit to get the pineapple bits back into the liquid. Small tiny bubbles can be seen appearing from pineapples and some started to slowly rise to the top. I used the baloon as my makeshift airlock as learnt from your natural grape, apple yeast video! Sorry, can't contribute to the percent ABV reporting here but will update again during 2nd stage fermentation. This is the first time I am attempting to make a wine!

Hi there, it is now day 3 in the fermenter. I gently rocked the fermenter 3 to 4 times a day to get the floating bits of pineapple submerged in the fermentation liquid. Is doing so ok or should I just ignore the floated bits? There are plenty of them, all of the pnieapple, raisins appear to be floating at the top while the bottom looks like it is just cloudy liquid. Lots of bubbles seen emerging from the submerged pineapples very frequently with some foaming at the sides of the top surface. Cheers and thanks for your advice. I used a baloon for this and the baloon is upright now. I had just completed making my own double looped airlock with one unused bamboo chopstick (from takeaway food), one 6mm transparent rubber tube, one directional plastic fasteners like the ones you use and super glue to glue the tube to the plastic bottle cap. I can reuse the entire assembly each time I change the fermentator which is made from empty drinking water containers, the cap fits 2,700 and 4,700 ml water bottles. I have plenty of these empty bottles from the water that I use for drinking and cooking. I will not reuse the bottles for each fermentation but will reuse the cap with airlock. The primary fermenter is a larger 6L water bottle with a larger cap, will construct another air lock for that. Currently, I am using a baloon for my first fermenter.

Thank you. It is now 2 hours away from Day 4, the baloon is still up, not as firm as yesterday but many bubbles can still be seen accumulating bear the surface. Should I wait till it stops bubbling and balloon becomes flat before transferring (using a simple 6 mm tube aa syphon, to be sterillised with H2O2)? Using your video as a guide, it looks like mine is almost ready for transfer to 2nd fermenter at day 4 or thereabout.

@@nelsonty6686 If u r talking about bread yeast, then i would say dont use it as bread yeast has low alcohol tolerance (about 4 percent)...more over the taste may be off as bread yeast tends to produce more phenols, which may give of a 'fart' like smell..

Wow! Really spectacular, we're close to the New Year and that looked great spurting out of the bottle. I'll say it again; when we get back to Costa Rica I'll try this if I can locate the equipment needed. It will be pure summer when we arrive and pineapples will be abundant and inexpensive.🍍😅

Thank you for sharing the simple way in making Pineapple wine. This is very useful here in my country, Taiwan , because now is the season for Pineapple and they are cheap and sweet. At the end of this video, I saw a very similar ceremony to our aboriginal peoples when opening the tasting bottle. Taiwanese spread a little bit of wine to the earth before drinking. This is showing respect and thanks for offering the fruits to us. And you spread a little too much, ha!

Hello Cuoredicioccolato A big thank you for your wine videos. I too am in Thailand in Rayong. Love the Kao neow pan!! During the first 5 days I did not stir the pineapples. Bubbler was good. After the 5 days i moved it to a new container, sealed and with new airlock. It's been 3 days now and no fermentation at all. Was it because I did not stir the fruit? Should I bottle it now? Kind regards.

Hi Love your videos. I am a great follower of your videos. I followed the instructions and made my first wine from pineapple. I used the bread Yeast instead of using brewers yeast. Do I still get sparkling wine if I use suger while bottling. Please let me know.

I would recommend to roughly chop the raisins to break the skins and allow them to rehydrate easier in the must, they are for adding body and grape tannins to the wine as well as nutrients for the yeast

When using whole fruit pulp, I put the fruit in a cheese cloth bag or brewers bag. Makes it easier to clean t by e fermenter and to squeeze any extra juice from the pulp.
