Today we take a closer look at the NEW Pineta Peak Carbon Fiber tripod! A fantastic addition to the affordable tripod market. If you saw our last tripod video about the Sirui, this builds off that with a new player on the block.
Great tripod, but with the head it goes for around 950.. a sachtler flowtech 75 with a nitrotech head is around 1299.. i think the gap is getting closer and yc onion is pricing itself up there
I had ordered one that wasn't even delivered yet and while at the show in Vegas they were going to sell me a used one on the spot for 50 percent off. I was truthful and told me I had one on order that I would just return (unopened), then they were like, oh we cant sell you this one for a discount because you ordered one and will return it. WTH. So yea, customer service is TERRIBLE. Who does business like that??? I ended up returning the new one I ordered as well! No thanks!!!
Have you guys tried to use the Sirui head on the coconut bowl? Seems a quicker way to balance the camera, but maybe not as flexible? love to know what you think!
This!! also making the tripod able to go much lower with no interference to the floor since the bottom screw is much shorter on the coconut bowl. I'd love to know if they tried this as well
It’s weird seeing you guys review the same niche YC Onion tripod I bought on a whim last year. It’s pretty great so far but be prepared for very long shipping times…
Sirui seems to have discontinued their legs. They're no longer listed on the website and they're out of stock anywhere that still has them listed. I'm curious if they discovered a flaw or violated a patent. The legs never seen that stable in the videos I saw on it.
