Debi tried them both on a PING demo day recently. The PING guy went through all the data with her and her G425 Max was very similar to the G430 10K as you found also. On having discussions with him, he said the G425 Max was 10k also but PING hadn’t made a big deal out of it at the time. The important thing was how they ‘felt’ to her, which one she liked better? She preferred her G425 and he had no problem with that at all. Absolutely zero pressure to buy the new product…this is how all demo days should be. It certainly made me consider their products the next time I buy…WELL DONE PING 👍🏻
@@ScratchAt50 They were brilliant with Debi, no upselling at all. Just gave her the data...even told her the G425 Max was 10k also, so any benefits to her would be minimal. He tried different shafts for her to see if he could get gains that way (shes already in an exotic shaft) but to no avail...his message, save money and spend it on shoes! Something that rang very true for her 🤣🤣🤣
I currently have the Ping g425 and like it a lot. It is a fairway finder for me. I am 62 and wish that I could find a few extra yards but I have not found enough difference in any of the new drivers to lay down $500-600 for the upgrade. I would have to gain 8-10 yards and the forgiveness of the g425 to make the switch.
it's the same driver... and the G425 isn't leaving my bag for 5 yards... plus the fact that you can set it up for a draw or fade which is not an option on the G430 (which is stuck on a draw as per testing)... and if you change the settings on the G425 you can duplicate the same performance as the G430... great video... new subscriber...
I have both the 425 max and the 430 10k, at the same settings I have trouble turning the 10k over compared to the 425. Have you noticed any right bias with the 10k?
