Tama, Philippines is a democratic country like italy and each branch should perform it's own duty, legislative, judiciary and executive. Execution of a law cannot be done unless it is amended by the parliament and decided by the supreme court!

Sorry pero the executive branch has no jurisdiction to effect an arrest directly by proclamation only without the concurrence of the two houses (legislative) and then to the judiciary (justice dept) for interpretation and execution. If the executive will ram its agenda by insisting in the arrest without legislative and judiciary concurrence, then it is violating the laws and should be punished. If this crazy action will be pushed by the government without regard to constitutional laws - then by all means it is deemed dictatorial already.

A grant of Amnesty is almost the same as Parole with many conditions attached lest it will be withdrawn. Trillanes did not accept the second condition of admitting the guilt nor he has shown remorse or avoid any seditious remarks tantamount to urging people to revolt.

People are confusing admission of guilt with admission of remorse. Entering a guilty plea is all that is needed by law. Which trillanes did as documented through paperwork as well as video. What he is showing is that he is not remorseful, which has no bearing on the legality od the matter.
