At 3:10 I can explain exactly why that happened. In video game development when creating 3D models for characters or environments you have something called normals. Normals basically tell the 3D model which side of it is 'facing outwards' because that's the side you'll likely see. Polygons have two sides to them, the normals are what tell you which is which. The side that is 'facing inwards' usually ignores collision in 3D games. If you've ever glitched out of a map in a videogame, and been able to see the game world on the other side, that's the normals. The wall turns invisible because you're looking at it on the side that shouldn't be visible, so it simply isn't. And that also means it has no collision, like how you can sometimes shoot through these walls you've glitched into in videogames but people can't shoot you back themselves. If you look at this fence, it's clearly just a flat plane with no depth with a fence texture on it surrounded by a cube-ish frame. So on one side it has no collision, and on the other side it does. The only reason you can see it is because the devs have specifically marked this object as having no 'backface culling'. Which is what causes a mesh to be invisible from one side to save processing power, but collision isn't turned on just because you can see it, it's still off.

The last clip where everything stops.. this has happened to me twice in games. The first time, it was only me, I couldn't move, everything froze, and a Bubba mowed down all three survivors, including myself, in one sweep. The second time, both the killer and I stated that the game froze at that moment because he had a free chance to hit me and didn't, and looked confused and out of place when I unfroze. I think the servers were going through something. Anyway, good to know I wasn't alone and crazy! Great video.
