Thank you very much! I don't think I could recreate this veneer exactly like this. It's such a technique, the colors blend themselves... Try to use less blue and add the Purple Twilight at the end. After baking, the colors will be lighter and it will have a pinkish tint. I hope I was able to help you :-)

Hi, I tried the technique with FIMO air clay, unfortunately it didn't work for me. Before baking, the surface of FIMO air absorbs the paint, the colors do not mix well. I also had trouble stretching the sheet because it cracked... 😔

I have tried this but messed up on the timing duration of how long the ink sits for and it can seep to the other side… but I also cut out my clay first before dying and that because I don’t want to waste clay 😅 I’m still trying to figure it out

I usually use Lisa Pavelka Magic Gloss UV resin, which I think is the best quality UV resin. (This resin cures to UV light, so it requires an UV lamp.)

Sorry, maybe I don't understand the question exactly 🙂 The veneer dries under the plastic wrap for 5-6 minutes, then after removing the plastic wrap for approx. for 5 minutes. Ranger's alcohol inks dry extremely quickly! Of course, the drying time also depends on the amount of ink. It's okay if you let the veneer dry for a longer time. I hope I could help 🙂

The painted and cut out polymer clay must be baked in an oven, the polymer clay does not dry in the air! (PREMO clay must be baked at 130 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes.) I drilled a hole in the finished piece with a small hand drill and placed the rings in it. 😊

Did you use "Ranger Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink"? It works fine for me. I'm glad that your result was also nice! 🙂
