Its my fave Floyd too! I was lucky enough to see the real Floyd three times. Twice on the Animals tour and once on the Wall tour. I feel your pain on not being able to see them ever again. But Rick is gone so that can never be. It’s sad that Waters and Gilmour don’t get along these days. But whenever I get down about that i go to RU-vid and watch the 2005 reunion. Never fails to bring a tear to my eye. My second favorite band of all time behind the Beatles.
I agree and disagree. The separation on the instruments, the drums and the bass is amazing, but I don’t like some of the things they did to the vocals (either over distorting or drying them out). I do think that the remix of Pigs (Three Different Ones) really highlights Gilmour’s bass playing.
I found this remix to be a very clean separation of instruments, vocals. where the OG was muddled. The original 'darkness' of the record will stay in my mind when I listen to this new remix so I am not concerned with it's brightness. This is definitely the best version of this I have ever heard
I do agree. The lyrics are clearer especially in Pigs. I can see why some may not like that. It takes away from the darkness of it. Thanks for watching!

hey guys ... not a very good remaster ... the drums sound too separated from the other instruments and overall it's too high frequencies ... and that's what I was looking forward to the remaster of the Animals because the Meddle has an amazing remaster ... Animals remaster it's all messed up!!!!!!
Disappointing vinyl pressing with loud crackles at the start of each side & on a couple other quiet moments throughout, once the volume kicks in, it's all good with a briliiant mix/sound..reallly like the cover/booklet. €27 was a decent price in Ireland.
Lame. This album doesn't need to be "improved". Reminds me of how they keep remastering movies in 4k and making the color saturation ridiculous. Technology has outgrown its usefulness and went into t he realm of the absurd. These albums and art were already the best that they could ever be. It is only the folly of the new generations that believe they know better.
@@SPAZZOID100 Really! It sounds good, clean, a bit too clean imo, kind of aseptical. Maybe it is good for today's taste, but is is not authentic anymore. Not my choice.
