It must have been scary AF to be there, tripping balls when Pink Floyd performed Careful live. Just chilling to the music and suddenly Roger screams like that. My God! It's scary enough at home listening to your stereo when Rog does it.

I did see Pink Floyd perform Careful With That Ax, Eugene live in San Francisco. I knew what was coming and waited in anticipation. Just as the scream started, four huge flashpots went off and turned Winterland into daylight. Every face in the crowd, every performer, every tiny detail in that auditorium was burned into my retinas never to be forgotten. I had the holy s**t scared out of me.

3:11 This is where the gorgeous, unhinged craziness kicks in. The deranged screaming sounds like the wheels of a speeding car going 'round a tight corner! Love the enhanced, crystal-clear sound quality.

This bit after 3:11 makes me think of the movie 'Apocalypse Now' - where M. Brando and the buffalo get killed. I think a song by 'The Doors' was used there.

Not a lot of us us old hippies left. We became yippees or economic opportunist who cleaned our act up but never forgot the love, the freedom of expression, Pink Floyd and our feelings of independence. No body trumped anyone but we all got nixed and witnessed heroes assinated and saw the Beatles on Ed Sullivan. Woodstock began outdoor concerts and the live "Dead" concerts. Don't eat that chocolate stuff. Peace, love and leather. 🤘

This beautiful piece of music has to be the most pure and original untouched anthem of the late sixties I remember as a 10 year old boy listening to this in my room on my bed rain hammering the window it has so many memories for me unreal never to be visited again

this album was the only one, according to David Gilmour, that each band member wrote, and performed by playing all the instruments alone.. each song by a different member... amazing.. Gilmour did this one

@@ruben2886 Sí, entiendo tu punto. Gran parte de esa música experimental no es parte de este álbum, lo de aquí fue una mala forma de intentar hacer algo sin Syd (dicho por ellos mismos), ya que con More, Zabriskie Point y las piezas de ASoS lograron algo mucho más sólido e interesante que esto
