Hello friends. It's been over three years since I've uploaded this video and I wanted to make sure I mentioned to any viewers who have been commenting their frustrations regarding the ads on my Pink Floyd videos. Please know that I *DO NOT* put any of these in. I know better than to do this. When any content on RU-vid is flagged as copyrighted material, I no longer have any say in what ads are placed in any of my videos. These are auto-generated from RU-vid's algorithm so they, along with the original artists are given ad revenue for the uploaded content. I have personally noticed this when videos hit a view count of 5K or higher. I have no ability to monetize the videos, nor would I. Please know that when ads are placed, it is nothing that I am doing, or have any control over. If you want to block ads on RU-vid though, simply install the Ad-Blocker Plus extension on your browser and you won't have to worry about ads on your desktop browsers ever again.
Just nod if you can hear me. Is there anybody home. Great track. Not too many bands have dared to make a double album. This has to be one of the best ever made!!
I checked Comfortably Numb was the 3rd and last single released off The Wall and did not chart on Billboards Top 100 singles chart. And it's flipside was Hey You. If I bought the album I didn't buy any singles. So that probably had alot to do with it. The first single Another Brick in the Wall hit #1, then Run Like Hell #53, then Comfortably Numb didn't chart. Amazing from such a landmark album with a movie that followed. I checked lists on google for greatest double albums and The Wall and The Beatles AKA The White Album are near the top on the various lists.
Sweet, thank you! The best way to find all of my individual videos by artist, is to check out the playlist page. Lots of metal out there and all sorted for convenience! Enjoy my fellow metal head.
Hello Jorge. To upload the lossless track would be the same thing I've already done for this video. I'll explain. When I record from the turntable, I only record at 96K lossless WAV format for every video. Even when I export the video project out using Premiere Pro, I still have the audio set to a lossless format. The only compression that takes place before RU-vid is the video, and the audio remains the same. If I exported out to an MP3 bitrate format, then that would be a different story, but the audio is still untouched until it is uploaded to RU-vid.
Depends on whether you buy a record player, or a turntable. They range from 50.00 to 50,000.00 on the consumer level. I'm sure NASA could buy a special one for astronauts, but I'm not sure how expensive that would be. As long as you keep it above the 350.00 price tag, and stay away from brands like Audio Technica, Ion, AIWA and Crosley you should be good. If you ever consider a direct drive turntable like the one you see in this video, make sure it's the real Technics SL-1200 and not an imitation SL-1200. Can't really go wrong with a Technics, but you have a VAST field of options.
My rule of thumb with any used LP's (original pressing or remaster) is that it has to be in Excellent+ to Near Mint condition otherwise I'll have nothing to do with it. So if I could luck out on one that old in that good of condition, I might, but it would likely be too expensive for me to justify the purchase.
What kind of record player is this and this is what I'd like for my type ?What brand is this record player ?The needle being used on it?Let me know............
Is that a problem? I suppose it won't do the sound any good, but with the correct, matching, type of arm and cartridge, shouldn't it eliminate ultra low frequencies like the "slow" side-to-side movement of an off centre vinyl? Maybe a better question, how can you hear that a vinyl is pressed off centre?
@@wemel007 Doesn't matter how good the turntable or cartridge is I believe. If a record is pressed off center too much it can be audible. Not everyone hears it the same. I myself am pretty sensitive for the slightest pitch variation. Long sustained notes, piano of acoustic guitar harmonics are the most obvious ways to hear if the record is pressed off center. If you don't hear it than there is no problem I guess.
