This track is the instrumental mix of 'Touch' by PUBLIC SYMPHONY which has its own video. I am in the band, and although we are inspired by Pink Floyd, we did not upload this video or track. However some of you have discovered our album because of this video and told us about it.

To Miami vice.... I bought this CD and this is not the same song As this.....the song on the CD is "skins" but it is not this song.....why is that?????

Thanks for this great gift, pink Floyd is the greatest band of my 60year span. To me. I just listend to (no more lonely nights) where David gilmour played the lead guitar Solo for Paul McCartney in 1978.

It sounds like a very well engineered and well mixed of various Pink Floyd snippets. However, if this is an unofficial version of Skins, it is a very well done piece. And I have done my share before in the past.

In the upcoming "The Endless River", "Skins" is a short track : only 2'32 long ! But this fake piece M.Vice has posted here lasts 7'03 ! Shame... Another "trick" in the wall, this is so stupid !!!!!!!!!!!!

***** ;-) ! So am I !!!... (in July, the day Polly Samson - Gilmour's wife - revealed this enormous scoop on her Twitter account, I was completely amazed (better put bewildered !). I couldn't believe in a "new" Pink Floyd release !... Especially with a mainly instrumental album, close to their 70's ways of creating long pieces. (Like Echoes or Shine on you crazy diamond or Dogs, etc..., amazing masterpieces !). I bought yesterday the last Rolling Stone mag' (french version ;-) )... and have been very impressed by what journalists described after they could listen to The complete "Endless River"... on Gilmour's famous boat-studio "The Astoria", in London... Elsewhere, I read Gilmour saying that this album is made for people who, even in 2014, enjoy listen carefully to instrumental and atmospherical music and who 're able to immerge themselves into long pieces (and not for those who are only "zapping" quickly from song to song)...
Would make a good Floydish backing track. I think I'm going to download it and convert it to mp3. I don't know why there was such an uproar over Napster and Limewire and now RU-vid makes it possible for anybody to get any music they want for free and nobody says anything.
Hi everybody! Maybe someone can help my with this Misery..ioi I bought the "Deluxe blueray Edition". 2 Blueray Disc and CD. But i cant find the "SKIN" Video!? Where is this released? Would be thankfull to have a Answer.. Lumina
Well, I know PF sound very good and this piece is not like that. The composition reminds PF a little bit, but some basic atributes in sound settings and instrumental arranges so typical for Pink Floyd or David Gilmour are missing. When the Endless River will release and I will find this piece on it, I´m gonna eat my socks :)
This is a really great song. But it is not Pink Floyd. The track Skins from The Endless River is less than 3 minutes long and is basically a drum solo. But I woud really want know the name of this song and artist. Anyone?
Should have been named 'Endless Drivel'. So this track is the completion of Great gig in the sky and instead of releasing these tracks on a separate and rather cynical money making album, Gilmour could have re recorded Eg. Great gig with this track included as its ending. Then we'd have an album with tracks we could relate to as a whole. Otherwise it sounds like someone had a go at revising floyd in their own studio but didn't quite get it. I still can't quite get to grips with the album except to say that I recognise it as being vaguely Floydesque and at no point have I picked up my guitar while wanting to play along.
