After nearly 10 years, over 40.000.000 million views and about 150.000 likes ( Thanks !!! ) I felt it was time to rework my most anticipated video. It fitted perfectly that a 5.1 version of Delicate Sound Of Thunder was released just a month ago. I hope you like this new version also and go and buy the music of Pink Floyd. It's one of the most exciting experiences you can have in your life.

Sigh....Floyd....you are a beacon for the world. This song and video bring me to tears. What have we done to our planet? Our species? Never stop dreaming. Saw you in Cedar Falls, Iowa, in 1987...after years of listening to your music around the clock. It was a peak experience in every way. Rock on.

I will always enjoy this song and remind my younger brother who past away 2015 - never smoking or drinking - other than me. Pink Floyd is one of my Favorits.

I have always thought that the original video of this was the most perfect music-videos on RU-vid. Every lyric speaks to us as does every image, every sound goes through you from deep drone to soaring eagles. Misty rainforest mornings lead through canyon thrills, waterfall descents and eventually Orion hides behind a silhouetted tree. Perfect. This video takes the perfect up a notch! Thanks.

He, David, Had a lot of different manipulations of the Stratocaster that no other musician could find with such clarity, precision, power, and most of all, emotion...and I'm sure I left something out. He took Sids' Pink Floyd, and turned it into an epic rock sound with Sids influence, but Davids multi instrumental powerhouse of talent. The rest of the band was right there with him too! One of a kind group still blows me away every time I listen. Thanks for the new version man... The PF collective gives you much love!

Yes, and I already knew I would do this thing (didn't know I would do it so fast) after thinking of it for so long. So I was smiling a bit inside while reading your comment. There will be 1 or 2 different things to come now. But PF is really one of my favourites. I would love to do more. Maybe I will get some time over Christmas :-)

Great video of course but I do prefer your original. The version of Sorrow on the original (from Pulse I think?) seems to have more raw energy. I wish you'd turn comments on for the original. Keep up the great work.

This is a remastered version of the song, isn't it? Maybe it's just me but I think I like the original mix more. Whatever they did there took some of the epicness away at least for me.

This is correct. It is from Delicate Sound Of Thunder (2019 Remix) [Live]. Unfortunately YT mixes the 5.1 down to 2.1

There are indeed some people who like the old version more :-) Unfortunately it is blocked in Germany so I decided to make another one. And for sentimental reasons :-)
