Iantheone I still remember it vividly, waking up in the middle of the night to this song. I had fallen asleep while Spotify was playing my playlist, so it starting streaming recommended songs after it got through all my organized music. Little did I know at the time that I was listening to a gateway to a whole new album to hear, and then some. Never have I been the same after that experience.
This great music draws in and takes away somewhere ... I think, as an option for meditation, slowing down makes sense, but it's better without lowering the pitch, so that the tonality is the same as in the original, but slower. I will try to do this.
If you don’t lower the pitch then it would sound choppy. Think of it like frames per second on a RU-vid video. If you make a 60fps video half speed it would be 30fps. Same with sound
Very beautifully done in terms of giving an old school tune the slowed and reverb treatment. Feels like wondering off into a far away paradise of clouds where time and space don't matter. And all troubles disappear in a snap. Not much more needs to be said. God bless and have a good day.
Beside the main anti-war theme of song and strong relations of lyrics of Rogers Waters of his experience of loss of his father in WW2, this song summarize life for me. In album each song tell story about thing what drive crazy human being. I can't fully understand sorrow of missing your father, but i can saw in my experience problem of "us and them", dilemma "have and have not". Because all hate began with fear, fear of unknown from other country, group of people, person and finally ended up in fight or still destructive anger. And after you got wasteland, in your hands, in your soul. Everytime you hate, you fear. Usually there is no objective danger, but only your way of deal of fear.
it sucks cause most of you won’t really appreciate the beauty of slowed and deepened music .. idk personally it’s as if i can step into the song literally if that makes sense lol anyways peace and love 💕
@@bryceoverstreet1048 But can't you just chop the wave into smaller pieces and put them further apart. I've heard slowed songs, but they don't sound deeper
@@ild4099 depends on the method of slowing, you can chop it up and spread it apart to slow it, which is one way, or you can stretch it out like a rubber band, which lengthens each individual wavelength, lowering the pitch.
