Good times man, those good experiences are too hard to come by anymore. People are so different now.

First heard much of the album when I was ten years old - my brother ripped some of the songs to one of his cassette tapes from the LP, borrowed from the father of a friend at school - and the entire album in running order about two years later. It's always been a favourite, and 1970s Floyd (along with Yes and Genesis) had a huge impact on the way I listen to and understand music. Their music really inhabits a world of its own... It's too bad they never did a proper live album during their peak years. Ummmagumma is early - it's a fairly good album but it doesn't include any of their later work - and the Live at Pompeii movie was shot in daylight without any audience. so it doesn't capture what their normal live gigs were like (and also, doesn't have any f the post.Meddle material). A live album recorded in 1975/76 would have been invaluable, though there's now a great deal of unofficial material for that on RU-vid. :)

I have it as well as the dsotm and the wall immersion sets. Scored the offa Amazon at incredibly low prices, 45.00 for dsotm and wywh, 60.00 for the wall.

@@jamesschaidt1096 Damn, good for you man! I never saw them for less than $150.00 USD... that's how much I paid for the DSoTM Immersion box, brand new from Best Buy. Worth it? Yes. I just can't often afford to spend that much on albums and shit, unfortunately.

@@valerywalter5541 Oui, c'est bien eux. En 1977 pendant leur tournée nord-américaine "In The Flesh". Cet enregistrement audio est un bootleg,(c'est a dire "amateur" souvent enregistré illégalement par des fans avec leur enregistreurs cassettes) ce qui pourrait expliquer le mixage de mauvaise qualité. Les videos eux ont été filmé par un fan avec une caméra 8mm.

Non so, per esempio la chitarra non mi sembra lo stile di David.

@@massimofrattasio1206 l'ho pensato pure io però poi in qualche punto si sente il suo stile specialmente nella canzone WISH YOU WERE HERE e...questo taglia la testa al toro, ho visto Gilmour mentre Waters si riconosce benissimo e pure Mason che si vede nei movimenti col suo stile tipico di suonare la batteria. Però secondo me un pò per il fatto che all'epoca (questo é del 1977 ) mancava nei lives molta tecnologia che poi verrà utilizzata dagli anni '80 in poi ad ottimizzare i suoni e gli effetti , gli equalizzatori ecc...insomma, siamo abituati al meglio, ed inoltre dalle voci mi sembrano alterate perché un pochettino strafatti...e perciò questo è il risultato. Ma in seguito impareranno questi bravi ragazzi a " comportarsi bene " 😉

E daje...L'hai già espresso poco sopra ! Ma mi puoi dire cosa ti fa pensare che non siano loro ?
