I’ve had my hair cut hundreds of times. The best haircut that I ever had was from a sweet southern black woman in North Carolina before my drive home to Pennsylvania. I LOVED it and if I could remember who and where she was I would drive back to have it done again. Nobody else has even come close since then and that was about 18 years ago!!! I have stoped trying to find someone who will come close and have started to grow my hair out and just get a basic trim sometimes.

@@fluffibuttacream that is the only way to stay relevant.. In my opinion.. I take so many classes every year to keep learning.. And I take the classes before each season that shows the expected upcoming trends and how to do them all.. And I teach fantasy colour applications. If we do not keep learning what good are we... And that is with everything in life! I am so glad we have resources like RU-vid too! So much talent! And I love how people can see the difference between a licensed cosmetologist (which is NOT a bad thing, and many are amazingly talented!) and a master stylist so easily with online videos.. Hopefully people can see how much work we put in, and respect the art, and the artists. I have nothing but respect for the talented people here...and Brave! Brave enough to show the world! Mad respect! Be Blessed!

Just observing & remembering when my Mom learned hair weaving 53yrs ago, buy loose hair overseas in bulk. Iweaved the tracks on a board with 3 nails & thread By the various lenth of pieces she needed iwas 10. She had lots of males especially white & white girls in the life most people got weaves who had hair?loss when they made weft using a weaving pole & thread to form a station on the scalp to sew the hair too.she over the yrs out of neccessity developed many of the tools systems manufactered today.isee u today tahing it to another level & like my Ms Lessie & being ever so gentle, caring & careful to protect your clients own hair & scalp presentation with class & pizazz !!!! I wanted to do something just like this, only turquoise. I could not for the life of me think of a way to make the hair near the part look more natural. This is it!! I have no hair on the top due to trichotillomania, but the sides grow like crazy. with this method, I can put the hair on, and my hair can grow underneath without being disturbed because I can't get to it.
