Girl, I love your sets! I have a question for anyone who would be kind enough to want to answer. I let a new nail tech at my local beauty school do my nails (the school does full salon services for really inexpensive prices if you are willing to allow a student to do them under the supervision of a teacher). I normally do my own nails but I wanted a treat and my friend is a receptionist at the school so she recommended it. This nail student drilled my natural nails down to my soul. I wasn't mad at her because I knew she was a student and we learn through our mistakes. Nobody's perfect right out the gait and over drilling is something a lot of new nail techs make a mistake with. But this time was bad, it's almost to the skin. It hurt...a lot. I asked her to stop after the first nail and the nail teacher took over and did the set. I wouldn't let her touch the nail the student drilled. My question is, should I leave it alone and let it grow out or would you put a very thin layer of clear acrylic just to protect it? Keep in mind, there is no filing that can happen to make the acrylic stick because there is barely any nail left at all. Thoughts?
