Girl thank you sooo much, when I started doing nails I was really bad at it, I didn’t watch RU-vid videos didnt listen to anyone. Just did it. And when people were saying I’m bad and I turned to RU-vid I searched up nails and you popped up first, I’ve been watching you for about 4 months now, and girl I got so much better. I used to not know why people used nail prep, or used gel to put on top of the nail tips instead of arcylic and when I did use arcylic it was so bumpy. But girl I js wanted to say how much I’ve grown bc of you, your truly inspiring!! Haters js gon hate.

Hey love! I think the reason why your white polish may be smearing when you put your top on is because of the polish on the sidewalls of the nails :) for some reason gel polish doesn’t cure as well whens on the side walls of the nails , so before you cure the nails I would wipe your side walls down with your fingers or a lint free wipe

I did black frenchies and that happened to me too, and I used young nails Mission Control, never happened before I’m assuming it wasn’t cured cause the gel did chip off after a few days

I enjoy watching the full length videos! It helps the beginners (myself and others) understand and learn how to apply products properly! Side note I love a lot of zulay’s products! I love her glitter acrylics and my favorite bubble gum pink is her luscious pink acrylic!! I also watch another tech who does pop off and she doesn’t file at all cause they pop off. She goes right to top coat. And yeah it works but I think the filing is essential. My natural nails have always been so thin the pop off doesn’t work that well which sucks so bad so I post sets on clients or practice hand but would much rather watch videos like yours. Application from start to finish

I get confused on when to use acrylic, gel x, polygel, encapsulate ect. Like I’ve never seen anyone use acrylic over that full glued down nail, I’m assuming they’re cured. But I hear you take them off right after for the video. I’d like a few days of wear and like to cure them but also want thick nails

It’s not completely cured; some gels especially colored gels have be cure for 90 sec; some up to 2 minutes because it’s hard for light to get through. It also depends on the lamp. Some gels take longer to cure depending on the type of lamp and the strength of the of lamp. With my lamp I have cure for 2 minutes 😩

im new here because i enjoy watching nail videos even if im not a nail tech or get my nails done lolol. at first i was not expecting too much because im used to those korean nail youtubers where everything looks pretty and tbh, your nails at the start looked kinda messy (then again, messy for me because i know nothing about doing nails) but i kept watching just to see if your nails get better and they did!! i dont know how you do it but they look so magical and pretty. it definitely was a "trust the process" for me since i let the visuals guide me since the start. youre an amazing artist and i liked the way you talk, im used to the asmr videos but this format seems more real and sincere!! i think its your style. once again, i judged your art too early but you left me speechless!! im a new subscriber now

White and black gels have the same density to light...some that are super pigmented need more time..since zulays is a one coat white cure twice, or you can use a higher wattage lamp as well...
