For anyone with Tinnitus, put this on in the background when your at work, or doing school work. It drowns out the ringing and really helps you focus. Life Saver!
I think I started to understand the meaning of life at 5:24:15. Why my girlfriend wouldn't stop talking, Where my dog goes when he runs away, When the release of HL3 is. How magnets worked, When the Polar vortex returns, Why water taste the way it does. Man thank you. This is what I needed my whole life.
Water tastes the way it does because it's chemical makeup is different from that of your own Saliva. While your mouth is accustomed to the way your saliva tastes when water enters into your mouth you taste the difference between what you are accustomed to and what is being introduced. H20 doesn't have much in the form of taste, but as it washes away saliva the lack of taste causes the sensation of taste that you are experiencing.
You ask me for a hamburger. My attempt to reciprocate is cut brutally short as my body experiences a sudden lack of electrons. Across a variety of hidden dimensions you are dismayed. John Lennon hands me an apple, but it slips through my fingers. I am reborn as an ocelot. You disapprove. A crack echoes through the universe in defiance of conventional physics as cosmological background noise shifts from randomness to a perfect A Flat. Children everywhere stop what they are doing and hum along in perfect pitch with the background radiation. Birds fall from the sky as the sun engulfs the earth. You hesitate momentarily before allowing yourself to assume the locus of all knowledge. Entropy crumbles as you peruse the information contained within the universe. A small library in Phoenix ceases to exist. You stumble under the weight of everythingness, Your mouth opens up to cry out, and collapses around your body before blinking you out of the spatial plane. You exist only within the fourth dimension. The fountainhead of all knowledge rolls along the ground and collides with a small dog. My head tastes sideways as spacetime is reestablished, you blink back into the corporeal world disoriented, only for me to hand you a hamburger as my body collapses under the strain of reconstitution. The universe has reasserted itself. A particular small dog is fed steak for the rest of its natural life. You die in a freak accident moments later, and your soul works at the returns desk for the Phoenix library. You disapprove. Your disapproval sends ripples through the inter-dimensional void between life and death. A small child begins to cry as he walks toward the stairway where his father stands.
this sounds like - a rainy day - leaves of a tree moving because of the wind - a swimmingpool - tv statics - cars driving over wet asphalt - airplane when you’re on the very top - sitting in a train - at a beach
Real programming back then was morning game shows, Soap Operas, Brady Bunch, Gilligan's Island, cartoons, News, Sitcoms at night. It was next level "nothing to watch on TV".
Can I just say that I've been using your 10 hour pink noise track to sleep for nearly three years now? I can't imagine trying to sleep without it! Thank you, you've made a huge impact on my quality of life.
I'm so glad I found this video. I really can't stand the sound of people eating so I usually eat dinner by myself, but I have this playing through my earbuds and I'm eating dinner with my family! all the sounds that make me anxious are blocked out but the conversation still comes through! thank goodness!
OMG I am the same way! I also loathe hearing other people breathe loud, snore, etc...my dad is the worst. Over 25 years ago, I was desperate to drown out his horrible snoring and finally discovered the box fan. Back then I was the only one I knew that did that and everyone thought I was weird, but now everyone uses white noise...I love your idea of white noise in earbuds while at dinner, I am absolutely going to do that! 😎
This is great. It sounds like rain or a waterfall. So many times I've gone to nature sound videos to get rain sounds but then a bird shriek or a horrible gong or something else will give me a heart attack. I've suffered from sound sensitivity all my life, it's gotten a lot worse with chronic illness added to my life. I appreciate this, thanks!
Sorry for replying to a 2-year-old comment, but you might want to check these out: mynoise.net/NoiseMachines/whiteRainNoiseGenerator.php mynoise.net/NoiseMachines/rainNoiseGenerator.php
its amazing how this sounds like nature. there is a reason people need stimulation to sleep better. they have removed everything natural from their surroundings
As someone who is dealing with hyperacusis, I cannot thank you enough for these videos. They have done wonders in becoming more comfortable with the condition and I am happy to say that I am recovering.
Austin I was told by ENT about a year ago I may have recruitment ,some say it's similar to H. whatever..... it's a problem we have with loud noise and I used to play in rock bands,,, does this help? How long have you been listening to it ? and every day? thanks
@@andrewboyle1723 Hi Andrew. How are you doing? Hyperakusis and Recruitment are two different things. Hyperakusis is a mailfunction of a part in the brain during the hearing process. It can be retrained with white or pink nose. Recruitment is a damage of parts in your ear, often cause by loud music or simply by aging. Recruitment is the damage of parts (the inner ear hairs) which are responsible for the hearing of difference frequencies. R. can be very unpleasant as often some frequencies are heard quieter while other are too loud or distorted. This kind of damage can not be retrained but you can get help to deal with the hearing problem psychologically and hearing aids are also an option. But pink noise or white noise can not retrain physically damage. So to the other readers: please make sure what kind of illness you have before you train with pink or white noise. (Sorry for bad english, im not a native speaker)
@@1M_Subs_x_0_Videos That was a reference to the brilliant, animated comedy / sci-fi series "Futurama" [ 1999 - 2003 ( Fox, ) 2008 - 2013 ( Comedy Central. ) ]
I've had pretty bad tinnitus for years and hardly anything can give me a break from the ringing but this helps, it blends well with it so it's like it isn't there anymore.
I have the wonderful combination of Tinnitus and Hyperacusis. I am going through a very long, very loud spike. 6 months and counting. Listening to this helps to mask it. Thank you for uploading this.
You are welcome. It was through the creation of the noise series I learned about hyperacusis. Other listeners with that condition have enjoyed . ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9w8MxzLMvsM.html -Sweeping Pink Noise. Thanks for commenting.c
Some cites are worse. When I return to my home city the ringing is so loud that I don't understand why it is not on the news. It comes from cell towers. It effects mood and it does behavior modification. This pink seems to help block it for me the best.
Are you young? If yes, you have a chance to make your hearing back to normal. Just take a stop from listening anything, or either stop listening to music very loudly. Music (when having a hearing trauma and after a trauma) should be the quietest possible. It's hard to live with that but trust me, it's well worth it. Also when outside wear hearing protection, since everyone likes screaming on the streets. This healed me, seriously! I just hope you all have a chance to cure it.
Im doing an experiment where i've done a hearing test on myself, then I increased the frequences on my equalizer to match my good hearing, and now I'm playing pink noise at full blast for 3 weeks and by the end of it I'll have perfectly balanced hearing and I will hear the truth of the world.
I have read a recent article to the nature of certain frequencies re-stimulating neuro-pathways of damaged frequencies. How is it going? Make sure it is not blasting enough to cause further damage. And Thanks for listening and commenting.
I'm here because I happened to mention my tinnitus to a kind aquaintance who recommeded this. I already feel so the calm even feeling in my body. I have had severe tinnitus for ten years and since then have been learning to cope with the effects on my body. Thank you!
I have used this to sleep for a few months now. It's perfect and Its always nice to wake up and see how many hours it's been on for. And I always fall asleep
i wanna thank dalesnale for this assortment of noises. i've been suffering from tinnitus for 2 months now and it's been driving me crazy, it's like this high pitched continuous beep inside my head that won't stop, but listening to any of the noises on this channel really helps mask this tinnitus (though the effect lasts only as long as you're listening to the noise), but it's helped keep some of my sanity. so thank you once more.
I've tried white noise and found it rather irritating. I couldn't sleep with this going either but I really loved listening to it. I could almost imagine I was camping near a stream in the lake District. I had to turn it off before I slept but I had a full 8 hours of unbroken sleep afterwards. Will repeat the experiment tonight.
I really like pink noise as it sounds a lot like a waterfall and really helps me to get a good nights rest. I've been trying different ambient sounds like the spaceships on another channel but found pink noise is best for me so far. A couple of nights ago I went to bed with no ambient sound from my PC speakers and woke up feeling as if I hardly had any rest at all. Just bleh (if you know what I mean). Then last night I put on the pink noise and woke up feeling quite rested like I used too when I was a lot younger (I'm 63). Now I'm running this one and I picture in my minds eye a beautiful waterfall and I just know it's going to be another good nights rest. Thanks.
That's awesome. Here is a video where many noise colors are combined for those that wish to experience this sound: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lOwa2fmbjWQ.html
This is great. Masks my misophonia triggers like a charm, no more rage and frustration when I have to share space with other people and their weird noises.
Thank you for the sound!! I've been wearing earplugs since the age of 19. My hearing is better than the average person, hence the need for earplugs. Noise gets me irritated. Now I want to stop wearing earplugs cause it also hurts my ears. With this sound I managed to get used to the noise. I even sleep listening to this video. I wasn't able to do that in the beginning. I'm definitely improving!! Thank you again!!!
it makes my tinnitus kinda better i still hear the ringing a bit but not as loud i couldnt ever go to sleep like this i would need an actual heavy thunderstorm but this is helpful if im super desperate or suffering at night
Beautiful to find a nice and long video clip of pink noise. This is my preferred 'go-to' for tinnitus therapy. Absolutely does my damaged hearing a world of good each night. Thanks.
OK. I am really thankful for this. this exact frequency is the only thing that helps with my tinnitus. it's usually tolerable, but once in a while it becomes overbearing, which is especially bad when I need to go to sleep. this pink noise is the only type of masking that is a frequency capable of counteracting/negating my ringing. sure it only lasts while its near my ears, but that's plenty for me. God bless.
I got my ringing in ear (tinnitus) in 2014 after a Slayer gig. Recently got a spike in ringing playing my bass in a lockdown jam session with some friends. This really helped me sleep for last one week!! My ringing mellowed down a bit also. Never knew pink noise is so soothing....its like white noise with low bass rumbles. God bless you @dalesnale , thanks a lot man.
Thanks ID. My ears feeling better not working as a live sound engineer the past year, with a few loud sessions and rehearsals. Sometimes noise is soothing and blocks or even interrupts the ringing, which the brain sometimes leaves on 'auto-complete' well after a loud environment has subsided. (At least that's one contemporary neurological theory of what's going on with tinnitus)
Great tune, it's my favorite combination of frequencies. It's so beautiful that I shed a tear every damn time I hear it. I'm clearly an audiophile and I can't stand some of the hate comments I read below. Stop hating on this video I don't want to read your stupid comments every damn time I listen to this wonderful tune. Thanks for uploading!
+Bermrad Gaming For sure. All the tear-jerking noisy frequencies are present. Glad you encountered the channel during your sonic noisy wanderlust. Love all the people's humor, love and confusion comments. Time for a remix: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Gnwq6VLoUVU.html
+dalesnale well its still good, I'm just saying RU-vid isn't capable of that level of sound reproduction.... I find my self here a lot still... no offence to you sir..
Noise has been added to office sound systems at low volume to help with this very thing. It was popular in the fax machine, dial-up, dot matrix printer days. Those machines are gone, but that one loud guy in the office carries on.
thanks to your video, I can finally find sleep by forgetting the permanent tinnitus that has invaded my ears and my life for some time now. thank you so much for this.
I've listened to goodness only knows how many 'noises' for help with my tinnitus. This one is the only one that does help a little. I'm not sure if part of it might be the visual stimulation, but it doesn't matter as long as it takes the edge off.
Thank you for this! I know it is goofy to those of you who don't have weird ear issues but for those of us who do, thanks! The rest of you should feel lucky.
I can't believe I've got a 'favourite' RU-vid video of pink noise, but they're not all the same! I love this one. Very good for blocking out background noise.
Victor Lourenço there is a therapy which consists of broadband noises, mostly pink noise, to retrain the ears and regain a bit of tolerance. unfortunately there is no such thing in my country so i tried to do it myself. that aside, i know how tough it is to live with this thing so best wishes to you
THIS SAVED MY NEW YEARS EVE 2018. Seriously, my upstairs neighbor woke me up making a lot of noise after i only had slept for a few hours. I knew with that little sleep i wouldn't be able to enjoy NYE because i just would have been sleepy and grumpy for the entire evening. Hearing this over headphones i was able to cut out my neoughbors noise and sleep for a little longer. Now i'm feeling well rested and READY TO PARTY! :D
My whole family listens to this at night. When you sleep it drowns everything. So much, I was running down the hallway and slipped right before my baby brothers room and made a loud caboom like thunder, he didn't even wake up. don't mind my grammar.
This is the best video on RU-vid, really more useful than lots of the others. I use it to burn in my headphones, to set up my electric guitar sound for fitting the mix and for relaxation. Really lots of uses for this shit man, I like it !
I just found this for the first time. Excited reading all the comments. I have DSPD. I heard listening to this for 20 minutes help wake up in AM. Hope it helps me too!
I'm a kid and I listen to it (even if it's a little (a lot) disturbing this sound) and even if I've listened to other things, I don't know what you have against the current music we listen to
That was back in the day. Here as a 4K version ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OS931VC09Ww.html and a dark screen version ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8SHf6wmX5MU.html Thanks for listening.
