That was such a nice visit and interview! Everything looked delicious. The owners are so welcoming and gracious and you did a great job bringing the Aloha to LA. I want to go get a Pink's hot dog now.
I actually love their Double Cheeseburger it’s pretty good. Very meaty and their special sauce is tangy and delicious. If you go to Pinks Hot Dogs try the burgers 🍔
Pinks is My Favorite for over 45 years. The 12” Jalapeño Dog 😇 and I always order a Double Bacon Burrito Dog. 2- Dogs 2- Bacons Tons Of Chili Onions & Mustard. Wrapped in a Big Flour Tortilla Pinks Is The Best ❤️
Pink's hotdogs are just Hoffy brand hotdogs like you can get in the grocery store. Nothing special. Hebrew National, Vienna Beef brands are way better if you want a simple dog. The only reasons to go to Pink's is to get one of their novelty dogs (which they do have some pretty good ones)... and to wait in line. You can get 2 bacon wrapped hotdogs from a Mexican street vendor for $5 if that's what you offer to pay. They're pretty tasty. And no line.
@Demon Lung we don't think that but we do have Hollywood, Venice Beach, Beverly hills, Disney Land, Universal studios and countless unique places and restaurants from different cultures. You probably know L.A. from Television.

You must be a pig...I ate there and there was nothing amazing about them. ..in fact if you eat at The Hat their hotdogs are much better ...also you can go to sam's club or Costco and their hotdogs that are better than pinks cost only $1,50 with a drink...how are you going to pay $10 and up for a hotdog? one thing is being a pig and another being a dumb pig...
I hear that Pink's will let you cut in line as long as you have a really good reason. Instant go to for me as I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow and can't wait in the long line .
They are Hoffman hotdogs. Available in many states. In Canada they would be called European wieners available in many German specialty stores. Steam them and finish in a large frying pan.Just start there. I brought my wife to this stand at Pinks she only wanted mustard that's it, she claimed it was the same as the ones I make at home. I tend to garnish them with pepper jelly ,mustard and fresh onion.
I eat hot dogs all over Been to Pinks, and Hillbilly Dogs in WV, several in Chicago. The best I ever had was in Mount Pleasant Michigan at Dog Central restaurant. They've been on the Food Network. They get their dogs from Dearborn Meats (Detroit) and patterned their proprietary dogs after the Dearborn Meats "1927" dog, the dog that was sold at the old Tiger Stadium for eons. Mt Pleasant is the home of Central Michigan University, hence the name Dog Central. However, the owner, Paul McFall decided to have all the regional dogs he could fit on his menu, which is extensive. So he has Detroit Dogs, Chicago dogs, Philli Dogs, Carolina Dogs, Seattle Dogs, and the only Sonoran Dog I have found east of the Mississippi. They are great dogs. Best seller is the Mac Daddy (macaroni & cheese + applewood smoked bacon) but my two favorites are the Popper Dog (cream cheese, apple smoked bacon, and jalapeños) and the Goober Dog (DC's proprietary chili, crushed dill pickles, crushed fritos and get this, peanut butter)...it's delicious.
Another good thing about Pink`s is, they`re open until 2 am !Here in Jersey, Italian hot dogs RULE....with peppers, onions, and potatoes on a half a pizza roll, they are da shizzle. Sausage & hot dog Combo is my favorite....FUGGEDABOUDIT !
I'm trying to understand what makes them do apparently special? The hot dog itself I did not see them making from scratch, using their own unique flavourings and herbs and no pig skin in sight for the casing. Is it the chilli they put on? Is it nothing like you've tried before?
Yeah there should be issues. ..if you have any kind of feelings for your girlfriend you wouldn't take her to eat such bad hotdogs...I had them and couldn't finish eating them...if you want to eat decent hotdogs go to sam's club and you get better hotdogs for $1.50 with a big refillable glass of soda. ..
I am making my own Hot Dogs this weekend, but with proper home made Hot Dog Buns and I bet they are every bit as good as these; plus, at least I know what is in them!

I think pinks hot dogs are awesome but you definately have to try their polish bacon chili cheeseburger ever since i ordered that it has been my favorite cheeseburger.

manuel vankal I’m from Houston I go to LA every other weekend for pink’s and checkers down in Hawthorne. Well mainly to buy from my Cali plug but I make it a have to everytime I go.
Went to Pink's a couple of years ago. The hot dogs were ok. We have a place here in MD, near Annapolis, called Anne's that Pink's can't compare to. Sorry folks.
Those Hot Dogs are not true Chili Hot Dogs they are someones idea of a phony gourmet hot dog. They all look gross and I am sure overpriced .............
If you just want a regular hotdog with nothing more than standard toppings, the Costco hotdog is actually higher quality and does taste better. Pink's just uses Hoffy It's good for the novelty but you're wasting your money and time waiting in line at Pink's if you just want kraut or relish and mustard. Carney's is better.
