This was my problem as well, drove me nuts plus this game doesn't exactly tell you what to do or where to go which makes it harder to understand, and all the items I have no idea what they do like the hat/book/fairy wand
Who else is missing the classic 2D side scrolling adeventures? Like Mario, Sonic, this game, and so many others like it. The classic style gameplay, the amazing graphics, stunning sounds, and perfect character creations. Plus some of the best were recreations of Iconic characters like Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, Pinocchio, etc. We NEED these games to return! #bringbackthe2dsidescrollers !
I hope they do the same thing they did with Aladdin, Lion King and The Jungle Book. There's still hope for Pinocchio, it's my favorite SNES Disney game
I'm not bashing the newer games being made, but I MISS the classic side scrolling adventurers that had the amazing cartoon-like graphics, the incredible experience, immersing soundtrack and actual 🎮game🎮sounds. Games like this were so awesome, and so different than the movies based/style graphics they have now. These classics had some iconic backgrounds, beautiful colors and images, massive 🌎Worlds🌎 and such great characters. If they were recreations of cartoons, or animated movie characters they were 99% of the time spot-on perfection! This game is evidence of that very thing. Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket are perfectly made recreations of their cartoon counterparts. Especially Pinocchio! The hidden power-ups, or "extra lives", or health bars were always helpful. These games were the best!, no wait, THEY ARE THE BEST! Games like 🦔Sonic🦔the🦔Hedgehog🦔, 🐢Mario🐢Brothers🐢, 🧑🦲👩🦲Bonk's👨🦲Adventure👨🦲👩🦲, 🏰Castle🏰of🏰Illusion🏰starring 🐭Mickey🐭Mouse🐭, 🐰Bugs🐰🐰Bunny🐰, the Flintstones, Tom & Jerry, and Toy Story. There are MANY MANY MORE! But these are some of the better overall games. I was lucky in that I was able to get both of the 8-bit Game Systems, the NES and the Sega Master System, then all three of the 16-bit systems....the SNES, the Sega Genesis, and the TurboGraphx-16. I worked to buy games....lol, and that also included the Sega 💿CD💿, but NOT the 32x. However later the Sega Saturn came up which I also bought. As well as the N64 and the Dreamcast and eventually the Playstation One or PS1. Back then the graphical enhancements were amazing! The Dreamcast's NFL 2K Series was absolutely amazing. Some say NFL 2K5 was as close to perfection as anyone has ever come to NFL🏈Football.🏈 It MUST have been damn near because EA spent a BUTTLOAD OF 💰MONEY💰and they BOUGHT the EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS to the NFLPA, and the NFL. Meaning NO OTHER video game company could now use the Names or likenesses of the NFL League, the team's name's, mascots, logos, stadiums, or ANYTHING ELSE. They also weren't allowed to use ANY players names, statistics, likenesses, etc. at all! They essentially eliminated ANY and ALL competition for the John Madden Football, which was iconic on the Genesis, but Sega was CRUSHING them on the Dreamcast Football field! That to me was the start of the MONEY GAME! When money became the biggest factor for the games success. Flashy graphics, loud stereo surround sound. But the games were lacking any good storylines or ADVENTURES like the old 2D side scrolling 🎮🎮games🎮🎮! Those truly were the BEST GAMES!
Why do you miss them? They're still very much around. There are a ton of side-scrolling games with cartoon graphics (though most of them are Metroidvania-style).
@@EdsterIIIyou can play earthworm Jim on the dsi and the switch. I really don’t get your nostalgic whining here son. The games you miss are all still available. Go dig out your retro consoles or go buy them. They aren’t rare
13:13 that coachman is scarier than the 🃏 smile. 13:23 anyway, I’m glad 😀 Pinocchio just pushed him off the cliffs and rescue the boys who turned into a 🫏 as an alternative scene.
Why is it dumb then? A lot of games back then was like this but few had graphics like this. Fun game and very accurate to the movie. Disney games back then were great! If 2d platformers aint for you sure. But nothing dumb about it.
