Pinoy Joyride - Zambales to Pangasinan Joyride part 4 (San Felipe Cabangan Botolan Iba) 

Brought back memories of when I’ve climbed up a portion of the Zambales mountain range where my maternal grandfather (DOMINGO REGLOS) & his family gathered Maguey to make shipping ropes from. Lolo Inggo’s family used to transport people & cargoes by “PARAW” when there was no land transportation available yet. Later on, they had the first Phil. Express bus to ply around Zambales. Too bad that was just a thing of the past.

Botolan is 20 kms. from Mt. Pinatubo, hence, the closest town to it. Eighty percent of homes in Zambales were damaged when rooftops & surroundings were covered by less than two feet of ashes/debris from the 1st day of eruption in June 12, 1991 onwards.

Sir sa pagkakaalam ko meron po daan papunta tarlac mula sa botolan kaso lang po hindi pa tapos gawin.
