Oh yes I am trying to preserve the unity of the AFP ( which by the way this country needs), discourage the breakdown of discipline and prevent civil war while some political vultures are busy putting forth their agenda, some people piling up on views and earning tube dollars out of this issue. Sorry if you don't see it my way. We don't do walk outs in the AFP. We attack the problem, face the issues. Walk out is for pussies. Cowardly, unprofessional. The higher the rank, the greater the responsibility and we should be careful of our actions so we always protect the institution and our men while performing our mission. We argue, then we gripe but follow the chain of command. Such is demanded in an ARMED FORCES. We can't afford to be emotional over issues. We remain focused. We are leaders of men and we carry on for their sake and our people. In my book, anyone who walks out on me, I will relieve him/them of command , put them on house arrest and charge them correspondingly w articles of war. We can not demand discipline from the entire organisation if our commanders exhibit such breakdown in discipline We can't perform our duties if we are fragmented and act like politicians. I feel your concern. but there were medias in the conference. if may totoo s chismis, malamang pinagbawalan ang mga media not to put it out. so for a way to open it in public, it was leaked to deo macalma pr wala ung obligation s nag leaked ng information. kase hindi nman i-exposed ni deo ung source nya. if that information is fake, then the AFP should hold those malicious vloggers/media men accountable kase hindi n nirerespeto ang integrity ng AFP. pero if totoo, malamang hanggang sabe lng sila ng fake news!

Addendum--General Macanas DID NOT say it was a command conference. It was other bloggers who used the term "command conference". Mr. Deo Macalma clarified that it was not a command conference but he broadly hinted it was a Cabinet Secretary. So what if it was not a command congrrence? The fact is that a flag officer walked out in the presence of a presidential alter ego, and was followed by others, too. THAT is the news. And why did the AFP target General Macanas but was so ever careful not to mention Deo Macalma and DZRH? Of course, the AFP will never admit to anything but at least it should appear to be fair and professional. Remember, its audience is the PUBLIC and its ultimate goal just like any other agency of government is legitimacy. It is the people who will judge which is legitimate.
