Naging hubby na talaga naming mga Filipino ang kumanta pero hindi lahat my gold na voices pero kadalasan mas marami talaga ang magaganda ang vocal voices
@@jendayiKa One is culture, Flips love to sing and dance. Two is language, the way the original Tagalog was spoken and many other dialects are spoken, they have this rhythmic cadence to them. Each dialect has a specific cadence that naturally sounds like they're singing all the time. Especially the original way of speaking Tagalog used to be heavily rhyming and poetic. Three, evolved lung capacity helps Flips hold more air in their lungs since we are a naturally sea farring people whose main food source was fish via diving and spearfishing. Generations upon generations of Filipinos have inherited this particular trait and there's even a tribe in the southernmost part of the country who have evolved slightly more webbed feet.
I'm Filipino, but born in the US, and I can't sing a song properly to save my life except for "Happy Birthday", so I guess it's something in the water in the Philippines!
It's in the culture. As a Filipino living in Germany, you do not see the locals here singing or humming be it in parties, outdoors, in restaurants, etc. - something that is a usual, everyday thing in the PH. One time, my family and I were in a restaurant with music playing. It was a 90's song that I knew so I started singing along, my 10yo half-Fil, half-German daughter snapped at me in embarrassment, "Mom, we're in a restaurant!!! There are other people around! You can't do that!" For a moment there, I realised how much Filipinos love music and singing, whether you can carry a tune or not! The world outside the PH just doesn't have that same passion for music.
It's a good thing i could now hear vocal coach reacting to this, back in my days here in Philippines, Filipino were just singing without any vocal coach to teach them.
Nah not genes, culture. Live performances and singing is a pass time in the Philippines. Instead of boardgames or the limbo or musical chairs at a party it’s singing, at home, school, church, marriages, funerals, everywhere. So that means the average Filipino would be an above average singer anywhere else.
Filipino people's sing while taking a shower in the morning sings while making lunch even in dinner so yah most Filipino people have talent when it comes to singing even those who doesn't sing they love listening to music that's why when you surprise them to sing they get it right away.
Hi, Tara. I am Filipino and have been a guest instructor in the Philippines for many years. Singing is a big part of family life there, BUT I can guarantee that most Filipino singers do not sound like the pro level that you showcase in your videos. I enjoy watching them in your fun shorts but they are not the norm. 😊. It does help that the joy of singing starts in the family.
@simplydell2152 Bitter? Nakakatawa iyan! Naging guest instructor ako sa Pilipinas sa loob ng maraming taon. 3 months ago lang ako dun. Mahigit 30 taon na akong nagturo ng boses, kaya alam ko kung ano ang sinasabi ko.
@Victoria-Victorious Hello po Victoria!hayaan nyo po yan siya di yan marunong kumanta hanggang judge lang yan kawawa HAHAHAHA Btw I'm taking your vocal lessons here in yt!

In other countries, some singers are called "1 in a million" that's literally true. But in the Philippines, singers are "1 in 2, 1 in 3, 1 in 5". Good Singers are in almost every family.
We have singing competition in almost every corner of the country and we never run out of contestants joining. We are the karaoke capital of the world in terms of having a karaoke machines in almost every household.
There's free education and healthcare, and opportunities for employment. That's govt support, despite our Third World status. If you meant free food, housing, transport etc, no country would provide that.

I wish I had recorded myself singing pre puberty. I sing opera now but I’ve had a lot of training. I remember having a beautiful natural singing voice as a kid but I was shy and never thought of recording it because I sounded like a woman.
I remember when i was in high school one of our performance tasks is to sing solo in front of the class using a karaoke machine. The score will determine the grade on that performance task.
practice! that is the secret. since they were young they are already singing at home, school, in the kindergarten and elementary the sing songs so how could they not oriented in singing and improve or culture their voice for good singing. They may not have good voice to hear but they can sing good.
