Voted as the 'fans' favourite try' of the Emirates Dubai Sevens, Emosi Mulevoro recieves the ball from teammate Pio Tuwai in Fiji's 44-0 over New Zealand.
My choice for best try would be the other one Tuwai created for Benito Masilevu. It is much more difficult to create that one when you have you back to the defenders and boxed along the sideline.
Say what you want... watching it live made me jump out of my seat! Sad though it may never make best try of the tournament due to dominating votes from other countries for their own teams. It's cool I know what's what! Fiji will always win the hearts of 7's players and fans world wide. Peace out!
Jacks Johnson ....yes exactly. The guy who scored had the chance to move left or right so he floated in between and got himself ready for whichever way easier to the guy who passed the ball. He chose the back door pass and the scorer ran to it. Beautifully done.
I encourage you to read Ben Ryan’s book ‘ seventh heaven’ . He talks about the road to Rio and included stories like Pio’s amazing offloads that the rest of the team loved to feed off. very smart footy if you think about it! ❤️🇫🇯
Okay, so when Fiji received that ball, How come he wasn't considered offside when he was way in front of the ball carrier? Sorry, awesome try, would just like a little explanation xP
because it was general play there are no offside lines. If there had of been a tackle and ruck or something, and that player was still there then he'd be offside
1 cent ...and such is the time when an "old dog" has new tricks ! Shut the Floodgates now lol.Good Job Fiji ! 2 cents...Sports Telepathy meets Poetry in Motion...syncing Ship New Zealand...lol
Hyperbole much? Pretty easy when there's half the defenders and it was straight back. Not that difficult. Go look at Quade's pass to Joe Tomane against Wales, or much of what Benji used to do in League.
