I just took a quick look .. I'm going to have to jog the memory and chase some wires. I have a separate rocker switch that controls the Auxbeam when the SXS is off and no key .. I flip the switch and it powers the Auxbeam .. so I have direct connection to my battery through one of my positive buss bars ..I'm just not sure if the stinger relay or isolator come into play .. I don't think I went straight to buss bar ..it is possible ..but I'll check and see where the rocker switch gets its power and where it sends it to the Auxbeam. When the SXS is running I have to flip the rocker to the up position to turn the Auxbeam on .. I did not do the key on / auxbeam on. The down position of the rocker switch is for the bypass auxbeam on with the SXS off.
Toggle light stays on without the key on? That doesn't seem right. I will run 1 wire into the toggle from the key and 1 from the battery. Then 1 wire ran out to activate the stinger.
Lets the batteries both charge when running .. but separates them with engine off.. these devices protect a secondary or backup battery from any unnecessary drain.
