Pioneer AVIC-X850BT APP Mode iphone 5 

Hey man, i've got a Pioneer AVH-x2500BT for my car and it wont let me use app mode when I connect it with the lightning cable. How did you do it?

I ahve this radio installed with all the proper adapters and such.. it recognizes app radio but does not go to that splash screen where u can select the different apps to launch.? I am updated to 1.6 I dont understand what its doing
