Love your reviews. By far the most thorough, helpful, and non biased that I have come across. I came by your page today after purchasing a Pioneer DJM-S11 from Guitar Center. I returned a Numark Scratch that I bought last week and got the DJM-S11... The difference is night and day.. The DJM-S11 is an awesome piece of kit.. I was looking for vids to help flatten out the learning curve of moving to a new mixer, especially one as deep as the S11. You have a new subscriber and I look forward to checking more of your vids on the S11 as well as other pieces of kit. Peace!

Thanks CT. Awesome review! The S11 is an incredible mixer and I'm sure it will sell very well. However, I'll most likely be sticking with my S9 as I would never come close to using all of the functions on the S11. I like keeping it simple.

These new features are great. I bought a rane 70 in August and I love it but I’m thinking of upgrading to this in a year or two. I just gave up on a DjSM09 follow coming soon because they’ve been so quiet on this. I think a lot of people jumped on the 70 and 72mk2 this year. I really want one of these now. Oh well 😂.

i like have my browser page front and center on the mixer.The bells and whistles are great but having my selected crate right there and keeping me focused on my decks and mixer is a great selling point.

Great review, one of the best of this mixer. I was wondering if you touched on build quality and sound quality compared to the daddy of this mixer the Rane 72. I don't recall hearing a comparison. Maybe a shootout video of both mixers (if you have both in your posession) ?? Peace from southern ontario canada.

Thanks for the review man! Do you know if Pioneer uses the same Magvel faders in the channels ? Rane does with the Mag faders in Seventy series and they mention this but I couldn’t find any info on the Pioneer.

Brother i want to let you know that you have 100 thumb up on your channel. Great work. Now to the cake. What is you honest view on the phase system. Is it stable and is it on spot for long Mixing, I mean for house music long blend. I am mediocre at best on beat juggling and scratch ING but i figgure a good setup Will help me get better rather then practicing on a system that drifts alot on cue point and giving me a minor break down. Please your opinion is key cause you are honest and picky like i am. I have backed down on purchasing this multiple times,but i want it so much. Gear illnesses.

Scratch banks is such a great feature. I was worried that it was going to be exclusive to the S11, but I found out recently that if you use the Serato 2.4.1 2411808 build that enables you to use scratch banks. I've been using scratch banks with my Rane 72 (it replaces the slicer pad mode) and it's definitely game changing. They patched it out with their most recent 2411835 build and there's some minor issues that it causes with other functions on the 72 so I understand why they patched it, but hopefully that means the scratch banks feature will be coming to other gear soon.

I enjoy your video CT. I saw 3 other videos regarding this mixer. I know this will be for the battle style turntable type DJ like yourself. When are you planning on owning one of your own?

Then last night I Googled about the DJM-S11 (as I'm strongly considering purchasing it) and stumbled across this video. Great unboxing and walk-through! You've earned yourself a subscriber sir. Could you please inform me as to a link/ brand of the orange USB-B to USB-C cable that you're using in the video?

Which one you prefer Rane72mk2 or S11? I think sound wise Rane wins and that beatbreaker effect is super cool.

With the release of the S11...I Believe the S9 will even sell more now because it will be more affordable now.....I will still buy a new S9...But the S11 is another level

Undecided if need to upgrade my S9 or wait couple years for new mixer. I wish you could play mp3 music stand alone through usb.

Good information about the new mixer by Pioneer, does they have Serato on there, I were hoping they had Serato DJ pro software. This mixer confuses me like the CDJ 3000, because of the new technology this stuff overwhelms me a bit.
