Louie Morales I agree. If they manage to get those screens working with DVS software, it does seem a bit pointless. Not sure what functionality firmware updates might add.

There are some really bad producers out there pretending to be DJs, though, so that might help them.

@@ripvansparky Is it? If you don't use the AKM DACs and just go to an outboard DSP, would anyone be able to tell a difference with a SPDIF passed through the DJM Tour compared to the DJM-900NXS2? The Tour does seem more durable, has a few extra features, and has the built in hub.

It does have digital outs. RCA's are different, even though they look the same

Bernard Knight I'm aware. I'm saying it's funny how he used the RCA analog connections, instead of the digital coax ones on a system which is touted to have such a high sound quality. Would make more sense for a review to keep the highest sound quality possible

Doesn't make a difference if the music is being played at 320kbs mp3. It only starts to make a difference when you get into higher quality audio. The mixer itself (if going to a digital console) is the only thing that should matter. If the mixer and the console is clocked together through AES/EBU then you won't have drop outs and clicks.
