Glad it helped. I would check your power wires. Sounds like they are switched. You should have constant and ACC. If they are swapped your radio will never remember anything.

When you were in the FM tuner screen, it eventually showed the time. When you were in the Bluetooth player screen, I never saw the time. Can this be configured to show the time when in the Bluetooth screen?
I have a pioneer fhs501bt...I put it in a van and wire it correctly to the factory herness with a herness adapter...with a volt meter I get 11.8v from my remote wire...after wiring my pre amp,amp ,mono block and fan I get 6.8v...is it my deck not power full enough or power problem?
I bought my pioneer fhs501bt a year ago and I am having problems with it. I spent 110 from Walmart. Went to turn on the radio and all I see is the channel rapidly blinking with no sound, took the radio out and checked for any loose wires and nothing. I only have Bluetooth now. Not to happy
